Set amidst pine-clad mountains which gradually closes in on both sides of the Beas and it nestles in their shade, as though carved out of primeval forest. Upon arrival proceed to your hotel. This morning take a walking tour of Manali, visit the 450 year old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, which has some excellent woodcarving, Tibetan Monastery and a Handicraft Center. This morning you will visit the Solang Valley, which offers a spectacular view of glaciers and snow capped peaks. A place not to be missed is Rohtang Pass, 51 kms from Manali at an altitude of 3978 meters (subject to weather conditions and road being open). This morning you will visit the Kullu valley, celebrated as the valley of Gods. Later you will be transferred by road to Shimla, the former summer capital of the British and India’s premier hill station. Arrive and proceed to your hotel, rest of the day is at leisure, overnight at the hotel.

This morning you will visit Kufri, situated at an altitude of 2500 meters just an hours drive from Shimla and a popular ski resort during the winter months. Later this afternoon take a walking tour of Shimla, visit the Jakoo Hills which offers a panoramic view of Shimla town, the Vice regal lodge and later walk down the Mall road. Overnight at hotel.
