Gangasagar is an island in Bay of Bengal, approximately 128km from Kolkata. The travel includes partly by car & partly by boat. Silver sand & clear blue sky offer tranquility to visitors. It is a Hindu pilgrimage site where people, in the month of January, flock from all over India to take a dip in the Sagar. It is a day trip which starts at 6.30 in the morning and ends at 6 in the evening.
