Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Departure to Haridwar

  06.00 hrs.Departure to Haridwar (205 kms. / 7 hrs.).Arrive at Haridwar.Have a dip in the Holy River Ganges at “Har-ki-Pauri” and visit Mansa Devi temple by Rope Way.Evening visit Ganga Aarti.

• Day 2 : Mussoorie

  06.00 hrs.Morning proceed to Mussoorie (95 Kms. / 2.5 hrs.),visit Mall Road ,Kempty Water Falls and then proceed to Barkot (120 kms./ 4 hrs.).Check into your hotel.

• Day 3 : Hanumanchatti

  05.00 hrs. Departure to Hanumanchatti (32 kms. / 1.5 hrs.). Later take a local jeep to Janakichatti ( 7 kms ) and then prepare for trek to Yamunotri temple ( 5 kms ) by walk / pony / Doli (Approximate charges for both ways by Pony would be ` 800/- 1,200/- and doli ` 2,500/- 3,500/-) and back to Barkot.

• Day 4 : Uttarkashi

  Leisure time till noon. After lunch, proceed to Uttarkashi (100 kms./ 4 hrs.) & check into hotel.

• Day 5 : Gangotri

  05.00 hrs. Departure to Gangotri (100 kms. / 5 hrs.). Upon arrival at Gangotri, take a Holy Dip in the sacred Ganges, perform Pooja & return to Uttarkashi.

• Day 6 : Srinagar

  05.00 hrs.. Departure to Srinagar (165 kms / 8 hrs.).Check into hotel.

• Day 7 : Srinagar

  08.00 hrs. After Breakfast, depart from Srinagar to Dharee Devi Temple - Kaliya Saur (15 Kms). Later proceed to Rudraprayag (35 Kms), view the confluence point of 2 Holy rivers - Alaknanda and Mandakini. Drive to Okhimat (42 Kms ), visit Shri Omkareshwar Temple (This is the place where the Pooja is performed for 6 months while the Kedarnath Shrine is closed). Later drive to Gupta Kashi (10 Kms), visit Shri Kashi Viswanath Temple (Arthanariswar Temple) and further to Rampur (24 Kms), check into Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight Stay.

• Day 8 : Gaurikund

  05:00 hrs. Depart to Gaurikund 12 Kms. And then proceed to Kedarnath (19 Kms.) by pony. After performing Pooja & Darshan of Shri Kedarnath ji return to Gaurikund and then to Rampur by Coach (12 Kms.) Overnight stay. NOTE: Incase you are travelling by Helicopter/Walk/Pony/Doli, the return will be on the same day with night stay at Rampur. Those who are travelling by Pony/Doli (19 Kms. approx. each way), have to start the trek early in the morning of Day 8, so that you can come back on the same day. For those who are not able to go or get the Registration for visiting Kedarnath, the alternative programme for Day 4 would be as follows: After breakfast, proceed to Triyuginarayan Temple (19 Kms - one way), the Holy place where Lord Shiva and Parvathi got married. Tourists will have to go there by local jeep. Later driver to Gaurikund to visit Gauri Mata Temple. Then drive to Rampur, on the way you may visit Mund Katiya Temple (Ganesh Temple 3+3 kms. By trek). Tourist will have to trek for 500 mts. (One side) Which is a narrow route. Later return to Rampur. Evening visit Durga Temple at Rampur (half a kilometer by trek). Overnight Stay. The buses cannot ply /move in the places mentioned in the alternate tour itinerary. The passengers will have to hire jeeps /cars available locally, for which the cost will be approximately Rs.250/- to 500/- per head extra.

• Day 9 : Badrinath

  06.00 hrs. Departure to Badrinath (238 kms / 12 hrs.). Upon arrival, check into your hotel.

• Day 10 : Badrinath

  Morning after darshan of Shri Badrinath ji, time is given for performing the rituals (Pind Dan at Brahma Kapal) near the temple ,later visit Mana Village, the last Village before the Tibetan border. After Lunch drive to Pipalkoti (79 kms. / 4 hrs.). Upon arrival, check into hotel.

• Day 11 : Morning departure to Rishikesh

  Morning departure to Rishikesh (230 Kms./ 8.5 hrs.), enroute stop in Devprayag to witness the confluence point of River Alaknanda and Bhagirathi to form Holy River Ganges. On arrival check into the hotel.

• Day 12 : Arrive Delhi in the late evening

  07.00 hrs. Visit Shivananda Ashram, Ram Jhoola, Swarg Ashram, Geeta Ashram, Lakshman Jhoola, and then proceed to Delhi(224 kms. / 8 hrs.)enroute have your lunch at Haridwar. Arrive Delhi in the late evening .
