Thiksey Monastery - Leh: After breakfast full day sightseeing to Shey, old summer palace of the Kings of Ladakh and was built about 560 year ago. It has a 12 meter high seated Buddha images. From here we proceed to Thiksey, the monastery is very picturesque and superbly sited on a hilltop overlooking the village and we now would proceed on to Hemis, one of the largest and the most important Gompas in Ladakh, with its excellent library wall paintings and Buddha figures.
