Taking a picnic lunch you drive through scenic countryside to Lake Buyonyi.

The lake is dotted with small islands and one of the main islands was a Dutch leper colony until 1969.

Take a short walk or a chance to fish or canoe before the lake leaving to drive into the mountains to Bwindi Forest. Bwindi means “a place of darkness”, aptly derived from the thick vegetation of the forest.

The afternoon is for leisure at your camp.
