Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Depart from Kampala – Journey to Bwindi

  Morning: Depart from Kampala and drive southwest towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
  En Route: Stop at the Equator crossing for photos and refreshments.
  Lunch: Enjoy a meal at Regency Hotel or Agip Motel in Mbarara.
  Afternoon: Continue the scenic drive through the highland rainforests, arriving at Mantana Tented Camp for check-in.
  Evening: Relax and unwind at the camp, surrounded by the sounds of the forest.

• Day 2 : Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

  Early Morning: After breakfast, gather at the park headquarters for a briefing at 8:00 am.
  Gorilla Trekking: Embark on a guided trek into the forest to observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The trek can last between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorilla group’s location.
  Return: After the trek, return to Mantana Tented Camp to relax and share your experiences.

• Day 3 : Transfer to Kibale National Park

  Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the camp before departing for Kibale National Park.

  Evening: Relax at the lodge, enjoying the serene environment and stunning views.

  Chimpanzee Trekking: Embark on a guided trek into Kibale Forest to observe chimpanzees and other primates such as red-tailed monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabeys. The trek offers insights into the forest’s rich biodiversity.
  Afternoon: Visit the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, a community-based conservation area known for its diverse birdlife and primate species.
  Evening: Return to Ndali Safari Lodge to relax and enjoy dinner with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

• Day 5 : Return to Kampala

  Morning: After breakfast, depart from Ndali Safari Lodge and drive back to Kampala.
  Lunch: Stop for lunch en route, enjoying local cuisine.
  Afternoon: Arrive in Kampala by early evening. Depending on your interests, you may choose to explore the city or relax at your hotel.
