Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Guwahati

Arrive at the Guwahati airport and transfer to your hotel. Later, visit Kamakhya Temple and Sankardev Kalakhetra. Stay overnight at the hotel in Guwahati.
Day 2

Guwahati - Cherrapunji

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji (200 kilometres / 6 hours drive approximately). Check in to the hotel. Later, go for local sightseeing in Cherrapunji. Stay overnight in Cherrapunji.
Day 3

Cherrapunji

After breakfast, we trek to Single Decker Living Root Bridge, which is 3 to 4 hours from the resort. (Distance 4 kilometres down and up 1,000 feet approximately). This trek starts from the resort premises and goes downhill through village Sohsarat. The steps are relatively steeper in two short stretches. Half the distance is covered by steps going downhill. Then there is a jungle path going along the sides of the hill leading to the Living Root Bridge. Later, trek to the resort and spend the evening at leisure with ethnic music played by the localites. Stay overnight in Cherrapunji.
Day 4

Cherrapunji - Mawlynnong - Shillong

Elephant Falls Shillong Peak

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Mawlynnong (100 kilometres / 3 hours drive approximately). Later, drive back to Shillong. Next, visit Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Church, Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls and the local market (closed on Sundays). Stay overnight in Shillong.
Day 5

Transfer To Guwahati Airport

After breakfast, drive to the Guwahati airport for your return flight. Tour End.
