Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati City Tour

  Arrive at Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi (LGNB) Airport in Guwahati and transfer to hotel. Afternoon, proceed for local sightseeing at Guwahati. Main attractions include famous Kamakhya Temple and River Cruise on mighty Brahmaputra.

• Day 2 : Guwahati - Kaziranga (230 Km 6 Hours Approx)

  After breakfast, road trip to Kaziranga. Jeep Safari at Kaziranga National Park in the afternoon and overnight stay at Kaziranga Resort.

• Day 3 : Kaziranga Safari/Kaziranga - Majuli

  Elephant safari at Kaziranga National Park in the wee hours of the mornings. Today you will be taken for an elephant ride into the jungle to watch wild animals especially the one horn rhinos the one horn rhinos from a very close distance.
  Depart from Kaziranga after lunch and arrive Jorhat for overnight stay. On the way you can watch beautiful greeneries and tea plantations. Evening free for leisure.

• Day 4 : Majuli Sightseeing

  Early mornings leave for Nimati Ghaat (10 km from Jorhat). Catch the ferry service that will take you to Majuli along with your four wheelers in the ferry. Our friendly tourist guide will be waiting for you at Majuli to show you the various Satras of Majuli. Vaishnava Satras founded by Sankardeva, the father of Assamese culture and tribal villages. After a full day tour of Majuli, catch the last ferry back to Nimati Ghaat at 16:00 hours.

• Day 5 : Majuli - Shillong

  After breakfast, take a road trip from Jorhat to Shillong (370 km approx). Check- in at Shillong Hotel for Overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Shillong

  Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya, and is also referred to as the Scotland of the East. It is situated at an average altitude of 4,908 feet (1,496 m) above sea level, with the highest point being Lum Shyllong at 6,447 feet (1,965 m).
  Today the day is free for sightseeing at Shillong. Various places to visit in and around Shillong are described below.Sightseeing in Shillong will Cover.
  Botanical Garden & Parks.
  State Museum.
  All Saints Cathedral.
  Beadon & Bishop waterfalls.
  Shillong Peak.
  Shopping in evenings at local Bazaar.

  • Hotspots : Shillong Peak

• Day 7 : Excursion to Cherrapunjee

  In the morning, leave for Cherrapunjee (70 km approx). On the way, visit the waterfalls, the root bridge, caves etc. Return to Shillong for overnight stay.
  Trip to Cherrapunjee (Highest rainfall area in the world) will cover many scenic spots, including a    waterfall, and a cave on the way to Cherrapunji.
  Return to Shillong for overnight stay.

• Day 8 : Shillong - Guwahati

  Sightseeing at Shillong. Visit ward lake and elephant falls which are a must see when you are visiting Shillong. Later, you will be leaving for Guwahati for overnight stay.

  • Hotspots : Elephant Falls

• Day 9 : Transfer to Airport/Railway Station

  Transfer to Airport/ Railway Station for onward journey.
