Shillong : Known as Scotland of the east Shillong is the most beautiful Hill Station in North East India. It is the capital city of Meghalaya marked with charming valleys, Huge mountains, Lovely lush parks. Some of the famous spots in and around Shillong are Lady Hydery Park, Shillong Peak, Ward Lake, Golf Course, and many Cathedrals. Situated about 56 kms away from Shillong is Cherrapunji is known as highest rainfall area in the world along with many waterfalls and caves.
Arrival Guwahati. Pick up from Guwahati Rly Station/Airport and transfer to shillong.Enrout Borapani Lake and arrive shillong. Check in at hotel. After Lunch Local sightseeing in Shillong covering Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Church, Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Local market (closed on Sundays). Overnight in Shillong.
