GUWAHATI – SHILLONG (ABOUT 110 KMS / 02-03 HRS)-
Arrive at Guwahati airport drive to Shillong. Arrive Shillong and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit to the St. Catholic Cathedral, Golf Course & followed by a visit to the Mall road. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunji with enroute visit Shillong Peak (highest peak of Shillong city) and Elephant Falls. Later proceed to Cherrapunji and transfer to your hotel/resort. Later visit Mawsmai Cave, Khasi Monoliths, Koh Ramhah, Seven sisters water fall (one of the longest in India). Evening free for your own. O/n Hotel/resort.
CHERRAPUNJI-
Today after breakfast we get ready for a half day trek with our expert guide to visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge deep inside the jungle. All together it will take2-3 hrs.(depending on the physical fitness of the person) one way to reach the site. This trek is partially by rocky steps, ramp & trails. Enjoy picnic lunch near the stream. Later trek back to your hotel/resort. Evening free of your own.
CHERRAPUNJI-SHILLONG (ABOUT 60 KMS/1-2 HRS.)-
After leisurely breakfast drive back to Shillong. Afternoon visit Lady Hyder’s park & Meghalaya state emporium. Evening free for your own. O/n Hotel/Resort.
