Harsil - Sat Tal Tour

We leave at dawn break and drive to Dharali which is a day long journey. We pass through the towns of Chamba,Uttarkashi and Harsil,Dharali beautiful and colourful destination around 3 kilo meters away from the town of Harsil.Dharali is a small village about 75 kms from Uttarkashi and is on the way to Gangothri. The drive to Dharali from Uttarkashi is along with Bhagirathi river.Overnight stay at Dharali in a guest house.

Early Morning get ready for Sattal trek which is 3 -4 km with your trekking kit and packed lunch.

Sattal is situated near Dharali,there are mysteriously interconnected seven freshwater lake.Sattal is located at an altitude of 1370mtrs above sea level.It is untouch and unpolluted fresh water.

The name of the Sattal are Purna Tal, Ram Tal, Sita Tal, Lakhman Tal, Nal Damyanti Tal, Sukh Tal and Garud Tal.

after that trek down and Overnight stay at Dharali in a guest house.

After Bfast ready to explore Harsil

Harsil (7500+ ft ) is a riverside hamlet, 26 kms short of Gangotri.Harsil offers exceptional beauty being surrounded by Himalayan peaks, Green Valleys and Meadows with blooming crop.

Visit Mukhwas Village and Bagori Village-
Less than half a kilometer from Harshil, along a concrete path and over 4 bridges that cross mountain streams is the picturesque village of Bagori. This was originally formed as a Tibetan settlement 50 years ago. Today, it is populated by both Tibetans and Pahadis

However, the Tibetan influence is strong and evident in it's people, architecture, and of course in the many prayer flags strung across the streams

Mukhwas small village is another attraction of Harsil. The distance of Mukhwas and Harsil is just 1km. As we all know Mukhwas Village is the house of Divinity Gangotri particularly in winters so the place is having good religious values for Hindus. Devotees of Goddess Gangotri worship her at Mukhwas in winters because the doors of Gangotri temple get closed in winter.
