​ Hemkund Sahib Hemkund Sahib, located in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, is a prominent Sikh pilgrimage in India. The worship area is cosseted by beautiful hills and each crest is referred as a holy Nishan Sahib. Therefore, due to its religious importance, devotees from all over the globe visit here every year. Valley Of Flower Valley of Flowers is a vibrant and splendid national park reposing in West Himalayas. Nestled in Uttarakhand, this alluring place is famous for its charming meadows of alpine flowers. Endowed with a diverse range of endemic flora, it is picturesque in its beauty. This lush region is also home to some rare and endangered animal species. You may spot animals like Asiatic black deer, snow leopard, musk deer, red fox, brown bear and blue sheep. High in the lofty Himalayas of the Garhwal region sprawls this enchanting valley. Legends believe it to be the place from where Hanuman had collected the Sanjeevani buti for curing Lakshmana. Pick up from Rishikesh hotel and drive to Joshimath. On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight stay.

Joshimath - Govindghat - By Helicopter Ghangaria
Early morning at 0600 hrs drive to Govindghat at a distance of 22 kms. Govindghat, is the starting point for the trek, 14 km trek up to Ghangaria from Govindghat or take helicopter.
Reach and check in at hotel. Later visit Valley Of Flowers 05 Km trek one side (3858 m ) from Ghangaria. The valley is an enchanting sight with an impressive array of rare wildflowers like brahma kamal. A range of small multicolored flowers make it a delight for travelers. The snowclad peaks including Nilgiri Parbat (6474 m) stand tall against the skyline. The valley is 10 kms long, 2 kms wide, and is divided by the Pushpawati stream, into which several tiny streams and waterfalls merge.
Return to hotel. Overnight stay in Ghangaria hotel

This morning after breakfast visit to Hemkund Sahib 06 km trek one side.
You have an option to hire Pony or Palki to Hemkundsahib (4329 m) from Ghangaria. This is quite a steep climb. In the Sikh holy book, the Granth Sahib, the Sikh Guru Gobind Singh recounts that in his previous life, he meditated on the shores of a lake surrounded by seven snowcapped mountains now recognized as Hemkund.
Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Ghangaria.
