DAY 01 ARRIVAL
Meet and greet upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station and transfer to Darjeeling (6710 Feet / 03 to 04 Hrs). Check in and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02 DARJEELING FULL DAY
Early morning (4 am) drive to Tiger Hill (8482 Feet) to witness the first rays of the sun change the color of magnificent Mount Kanchendzonga (World’s Third Highest Mountain) (subject to clear weather). On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery (one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling area built in 1850) and the Batasia Loop. After breakfast, proceed for half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed on Thursdays), Darjeeling Ropeway (Ticket cost not included) Tenzing & Gombu Rocks, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sundays) and view of Tea Estate (from outside). Evening at leisure and overnight at hotel.
DAY 03 MIRIK EXCURSION
Post breakfast, the guests will be driven to Mirik (4905 Ft / 02 hrs one way), where they can enjoy boating on the quaint shikaras on the picturesque Sumendu Lake and also take pony rides (on direct payment). On the way back, one can visit Pashupati Nagar Market at the Indo-Nepal Border for shopping. Later, return to Darjeeling and stay overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04 DARJEELING – KALIMPONG (HALF DAY S/S)
After breakfast, transfer to Kalimpong (70 Kms / 02 Hrs – 03 Hrs). In the afternoon, proceed for half day sightseeing visiting Dello hills, Dr. Graham’s Homes, Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills. Evening at leisure and overnight at hotel.
DAY 05 DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station (75 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs) with beautiful memories.Government Service Tax
Airfare, Train fare, Insurance Premiums, Supplementary service cost, optional tours, Guide charges and sightseeing entrance fees.
Cost arising due to personal expenses such as laundry, bottled water, soft drinks, porter charges, tips etc.
Cost difference arising due to change in Government Taxes, which will have to be collected directly ON ARRIVAL.
Cost difference arising because of change in fuel prices.
Cost difference arising because of extra use of vehicle to visit points not mentioned in the itinerary.
Cost difference arising because of political unrest, natural calamities such as landslides, road blockage, etc. In such scenarios, the guests would have to pay extra and will be collected on the spot.01-0530-06
