    Capernaum
    Tabgha
Nazareth & Basilica Of The Annunciation

It Is Also Known As Jesus’ Own Town (Matt. 9:1) - Walking Where Jesus Walked Takes On A Thrilling New Meaning. As You Sit On The Stone Benches Of Capernaum’s Ancient Synagogue, You’ll Be Reminded That Right Here, Jesus Taught And Healed A Man Possessed By An Evil Spirit. Eventually, In The Mid-Fourth Century, A Large Church Was Built, Whose Mosaic Floor You Can Still See, With Peter’s House As Its Centerpiece. Mark 1: 21 And They Went Into Capernaum; And Immediately On The Sabbath He Entered The Synagogue And Taught.

Matthew 2: 23 And He Went And Dwelt In A City Called Nazareth, That What Was Spoken By The Prophets Might Be Fulfilled, He Shall Be Called A Nazarene.

    Ein Karem
    Saint Peter
    King David's Tomb

The Village Of Ein Karem Has Had A Long Association With John The Baptist, Being His Reported Town Of Birth. This Church Honors The Visit Paid By Mary, Jesus’ Mother, To Elizabeth, John’s Mother. As This Is The Point At Which Mary Poured Forth Her Song Of Praise, The Magnificat, The Church Is Beautifully Decked Out With Tiled Representations Of That Canticle In Just About Every Known Language.

Then David Slept With His Fathers, And Was Buried In The City Of David. 11 And The Time That David Reigned Over Israel Was Forty Years; He Reigned Seven Years In Hebron, And Thirty-Three Years In Jerusalem. 12 So Solomon Sat Upon The Throne Of David His Father; And His Kingdom Was Firmly Established.

    Reflection
Listen, We Can Hear The Angels Singing Gloria…Yes, We Have Reached Bethlehem - Our Dream Land. Let Us Worship Jesus, At The Place Where He Was Born.

Dinner And Overnight In Hotel, Jerusalem.

    Chapel Of The Ascension
    Mount Of Olives
    Dominus Flevit
There Are Three Churches Of The Ascension Built On The Mount Of Olives, And This Chapel (Now A Mosque) Claims To Be The Oldest. Its Foundations Date Back To The Time Of Poimenia At The End Of The Fourth Century, But, Like The Church Of The Holy Sepulchre, The Current Structure Is Of Crusader Origins.

Luke 19:41 And When He Drew Near And Saw The City He Wept Over It.
Reflection His Sweat Was Like Drops Of Blood Falling To The Ground. Luke 22:44. Yes, We Are Going To Kneel And Pray At The Same Place On Mount Olives Where Jesus Sweat Had Fallen As Blood Drops So That We Will Be Strengthened To Overcome Our Temptations. Walk Along The Palm Sunday Road Down The Chapel Of Dorminus Flevial, Where Jesus Wept Over The Imminent Destruction Of Jerusalem.

  • Day 6 : Old City Of Jerusalem - Jaffa

Today We Take The Via Dolorosa (Way Of Grief), Traditionally Accepted As The Last Route By Jesus. We Will Follow The Stations Of The Cross To Golgotha, The Place Where Jesus Was Crucified Marking Significant Events Along The Route. Visit The Chapel Of The Flagellation Where, According To Tradition, The Roman Soldiers Scourged Jesus And Placed The Crown Of Thorns On His Head, And The Ecce Homo Arch. Early Tradition Held That Pontius Pilate Stood Here And Thundered Ecce Homo! Which Means Behold The Man! Which Is What Pilate Said When He Presented Jesus To The Crowd. Below The Convent Is The Floor Where Jesus Was Publicly Tried And Where The Roman Soldiers Mocked Him. The Last 5 Stations Of The Cross Are Inside The Church Of The Holy Sepulcher Visible From The Distance, With Its Two Silver Domes. Also The Tomb Widely Believed To Be Part Of The Stone That Covered Jesus Tomb. Dinner And Overnight In Hotel.

    Via Dolorosa
The Via Dolorosa, The Road Jesus Walked From The Place Of Pontius Pilate’s Sentencing To Golgotha, Means Way Of Sorrows. Walking The Real Street In Oldjerusalem That Bears The Name Via Dolorosa Means Putting Aside These Images, But Hopefully Replacing Them With Other, Even More Meaningful Ones That Will Bring You Closer To Moments You Will Always Hold Precious. There Are Fourteen Stations. The First Is The Praetorium, Where Pilate Condemned Jesus And Jesus Took Up The Cross (Mark 15:15). A Convent Now Stands Over A Small Part Of This Huge Fortress. In Its Basement Are Ancient Flagstones, By Tradition Known As The Gabata (John 19:13), Or Stone Pavement. Beneath The Pavement Is A Gigantic Water Cistern Built By Herod The Great, Which Might Have Quenched The Thirst Of The Roman Soldiers Who Taunted Jesus (Matt. 27: 27-31). Past The Praetorium Is Station Three, Where Jesus Fell With The Cross; Tradition Says This Event Recurred, And It Is Marked By Stations Two More Times. The Fourth Station Is Where Simon Took Up The Cross. Each Station And Its Story: Jesus Meets Mary, A Noble Woman Of Jerusalem Wipes The Sweat From Jesus’ Brow; Jesus Speaks To The Women Of Jerusalem (Luke 23:27-30), And Onward To The Last Stations The Crucifixion And Burial, Located Within The Ancient Church Of The Holy Sepulchre.

    Reflection
We Take The Via Dolorosa (Way Of The Cross) Come To Me, All Of You Who Are Tired From Carrying Heavy Loads And I Will Give You Rest Said Jesus In Mat 11:28. Jesus Carried Our Burden So That We Get Peace. We Follow The Stations Of The Cross To Golgotha. Our Pilgrimage Is Not Over Here, But Continues To Our Eternal Home In Heaven.

  • Day 7 : Departure

After The Breakfast We Will Transfer To Airport For Departure To Our Home Destination.
