Hvar city walking tour starts with a car transfer to Hvar’s Fortica castle. After learning more about the castle and its history we will begin our gentle stroll down to the city center through lush pine woods until we reach the old part of the town called Groda. At Groda we will stop at Benedictine nunnery museum, where you will see their signature works of art: agava pattern laces, which are proteced by UNESCO as the cultural heritage. Afterwards we will discover the city square, the Arsenal, the Theatre, and the Cathedral.
