Badami town located in North Karnataka, was anciently known as Vatapi, the capital of the king Chalukya Dynasty from the 6-8 century. In the Bagalkot district, you will able to reach this Badami town, which is full of natural beauties and Hindu temples. Some of the tourist attractions are four cave temples (3 Hindu and 1 Jain), Bhutanatha temple and many more. These cave temples are located around Agasthya lake, where boating opportunities are available to have a great experience.
The first cave temple contains 5 foot image of Nataraja and dedicated to Lord Shiva. The second cave is specified for Lord Vishnu and on the wall Large images of Trivikrama and Bhoovaraha. The fourth cave temple is dedicated to two Jain saints Parashvanatha & Mahavira. The other tourist attractions are Malegatti Shivalaya, Mallikarjuna and Dattatreya temples with wonderful architectures. Hence, the religious tourists and nature lovers will be completely satisfied.

You will be pick up from Hyderabad and then driven by surface to Badami and upon arrival check into a hotel. In the evening free for relax or do your own activities.

Badami- The lake and sandstone hills makes Badami a picturesque spot. Four rock cut temples of rare excellence, dating back to 550 AD, are found here. The first three caves, dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu have comprehensive carvings that relate episodes from Hindu mythology. The fourth temple, a later construction, is dedicated to Jain deities.
