Though, 3 shifts of eight aircrafts daily fly to Lukla, sometimes because of the bad weather every plane is grounded. So, there are chances you may have to wait for your turn to fly to Lukla. Once you fly on a 19 seater twin otter plane to Lukla, the journey is scenic and at times it is thrilling. After 25 minutes of scenic and thrilling flight, you will land at the airstrips of Lukla which hangs on the cliff at 2800m. • Day 4 : Trek from Phakding(2610 M) to Namche (3440m)

Today, the first half day of the trek, gradually ascends up to the Dudh Koshi Valley. The trial goes through several suspension bridges from one hill to another hill. After 2 hours of pleasant walk we arrive at Sagarmatha National Park entrance in Manjo. We need to produce our TIMS card and National Park Permit at the Entrance. We will stop at Jorsale for the lunch. Jorsale is is the last village before Namche. Beyond Jorsale, we chase the trial that arrives to the longest bridge in the valley, then a short walk brings you to the deep and short, Hillary Bridge. The trial after Hillary Bridge is a 3-hour painstaking steep uphill climb to Sherpa capital, Namche. then we have a long hill up(almost of 3 hours on slow and steady) to reach Namche. The hard efforts put to arrive at Namche offers with the big reward- the first view of Everest. On reaching to the top, of the hill, we will settle into our Lodge. Dinner & O/N at Mt. Lodge

  • Day 5 : Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Today, we will have our first acclimatization day of the trek! Higher the altitude, thinner the air- we need to gain altitude slowly and steadily so that we get enough time to acclimatize en route, to Everest Base Camp 5357m and Island Peak. However, the acclimatization day does not mean to chill with the beer at Namche. We hike to a hill above Namche, which is one and half hours hike. The view of Mt. Everest with great panorama of Khumbu Himalayas are spectacular from Syangboche.

  • Day 6 : Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m), 5- 6 Hours Trek

Today, we will hike to Tengboche from Nacmhe. After the breakfast, at Nacmhe Lodge, we will start our hike through the ridge of the hillside, enjoying the great views of Mt. Kusum Kangaru, Thamserku & Ama Dablem on the right across the valley. First one hour of trekking is straight through the hillside, followed by the descend to the river valley where we will have our lunch. Post lunch, will have ascend through the sup- tropical forested hills to Tengboche for overnight. Tengboche has biggest Monastery in Khumbu, where we can see monks indulged in humming sacred religious Buddhists prayers. The dramatic rise of Mt. Ama Dablam at the backdrop of Tengboche Monastery is the eye-feasting view at Tengboche. Dinner & O/N at Tengboche.

  • Day 7 : Trek from Tengboche to Pheriche (4240m), 4 to 5 Hours Walk

After the breakfast at Tengboche, we descend steeply through a forest by crossing the Imja Khola and climb steadily to the village of Pangboche, which is situated opposite to Ama Dablam [6856m], and provides exceptional views of the mountain. A further two hours walk from Pangboche brings us to Pheriche. Stay overnight at Pheriche.

  • Day 8 : Trek from Pheriche to Lobuche (4910m), 4 to 5 Hours Walk

Today, we continue our trek by hiking up the wide valley beneath the impressive peaks of Cholatse and Tawache on the left. The path then climbs gently along the glacier, that eventually extends to the cluster of houses at Lobuche. With your spare time, rest or explore Lobuche Village. Stay overnight at lobuche.

  • Day 9 : Trek from Lobuche to Ebc (5364m) Via Gorakshep (5140m), 4 to 5 Hours Walk

This is our day to reach Everest Base Camp (EBC). After breakfast, we walk along the rocky terrain alongside the Khumbu glacier to EBC. It is straightforward slow paced glacial walk for 2 and ½ hours. Everest Base Camp is along the side in Khumbu Glacier. We’ll take our time inspecting the Khumbu ice fall, visit ice areas and glacier part in EBC, enjoy the great Himalayas and make best photos & Videos, then return back to Gorekshep for the lunch. If it happens to be an Everest expedition season (Mostly in spring at April & May), you could also see the tented camps of climbers who are preparing to their safe attempt to Mt. Everest, thus this place is named Everest Base Camp! In evening, we return back to Gorakshep for overnight.

  • Day 10 : Trek Gorakshep to Kalapathar (5550m) and Back to Periche 4240m, 6 to 7 Hours Walk

Trekking from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5550m) and then to Periche takes about six hours. After the breakfast, the short trekking through a glacier moraine brings us to Gorekshep (2 hours). After a quick settlement, and lunch, we will then start hiking to a big black rock hill to Kalapathar just above Gorekshep. This hike is straight uphill climb for 2 and hours. The trek to Gorakshep could be tough cold as the place is very windy so prepared with warm clothing. The summit of Kala Patter or “Black Rock” offers us the great big views of Mt. Everest (8848m/29000ft) including the full spread of Khumbu Himalayas- truly an unobstructed view of the highest mountain in the world. Alongside, Mt. Pumori looks great close up. As the sunset, the views are more colourful. We will have time to take great photos and videos at Kalapattar before, we trek back to Periche via Gorekshep and Lobuche for the overnight stay.

Here it is time to rope-up and put on our crampons as the most interesting part of the climb begins with the glacier crossing. And the trail is followed by the steep snow slope that leads onto the summit ridge. This ridge is wonderfully airy and on reaching the summit we will have stunning close-up views of the south face of Lhotse and there are other more wonderful mountain views from the top.
