Upon arrival at the airport meet your representative and transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem for an overnight. If you wish to arrive before Sunday a transfer to your hotel may still be possible (hotel accommodation for additional nights is extra) and you can meet the group for the start of the package tour on Monday monring.

Through remarkable scenery of the Dead Sea continue to Masada which is situated right on an isolated cliff in the Judean Desert. The site has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, King Herod’s palace, the synagogue, bathhouse and much more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. En route to the Dead Sea, you will see the site of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Nearly 1,300 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on the earth’s surface. Bring your swimsuit as you may enjoy a unique experience of floating on the salty mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea (weather permitting).Return to Jerusalem for an overnight.

Start the day with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the top of Mount Olives. On to the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of the Agony, the Israel Museum Shrine of the Book (with the famous Dead Sea scrolls), and a visit to the beautifully renovated Model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of the Second Temple. Continue to Yad Vashem Memorial and enjoy an afternoon visit to the picturesque village of Ein Kerem, the birth place of John the Baptist. You will end the day in the heart of a neighborhood in downtown Jerusalem with a visit to Mahane Yehuda to experience the flavors, aromas, colors and the traders' interaction with the crowds, at the largest open market in Israel.Return to Hotel in Jerusalem.

Walk through one of the Gates to the walled Old City: the renewed Jewish Quarter; the Western Wall, the Temple area; the colorful bazaars; Walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to Mount Zion and visit the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. In the afternoon continue to Bethlehem (subject to accessibility) to visit the Church of the Nativity and a view of the shepherds fields.Return to Jerusalem for overnight.

Leave Jerusalem, and drive north via Jericho the oldest city in the world (subject to accessibility). Then via the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautiful Roman City. Proceed to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation and the carpentry workshop of Joseph. Proceeding to Safed, world center for Kabbalah, for a walk through the mystic alleys and the artists’ colony.Drive to Kibbutz Hotel for overnight.

Drive to the Golan Heights passing by the Druze villages. Visit a former Syrian fortification on the heights and discover the recent history of this region. Pass by the Banias, source of the Jordan River. Enjoy an Israeli wine country experience, with vineyards surrounded by breathtaking views. Discover a collection of fine and rare wines and enjoy wine tasting and learning about wine production in this region. Descend to the shores of the Sea of Galilee, visit the Mount of Beatitudes and the ruins of the ancient synagogue and Peter's house at Capernaum. Visit Tabgha, where the miracle of the fish and bread took place. Continue to Tiberias for a short tour of the old center of Jewish learning. There is also an optional sailing trip across the Sea of Galilee to experience the tranquility and scenery of the ancient Galilee (subject to conditions and extra fee).Return to the Kibbutz hotel for overnight.

After Breakfast drive west to Acre for a visit of the old, famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa for a sightseeing tour, including the Bahai Shrine, Persian Garden and Mount Carmel overlooking the Haifa Bay. Proceed southwards to Caesarea to visit the ancient port including the Roman Theater and the Hippodrome. Continue to Tel Aviv and Jaffa for a short city tour.Drive to Tel Aviv for overnight stay.
