Jwala Devi Trek
Dehradun Mussoorie in Indian States of Uttaranchal, like other hill resorts in India, came into existence in the 1820s or thereabouts, when the families of British colonials began making for the hills in order to escape the scorching heat of the plains. Small settlements grew into large stations and were soon vying with each other for the title of "queen of the hills." Mussoorie's name derives from the Mansur shrub (Cororiana nepalensis), common in the Himalayan foothills; but many of the house names derive from the native places of those who first built and lived in them.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Rishikesh - Dehradun - Mussoorie (40/35 kms/1 hrs)

After breakfast 40kms drive to Dehradun Local Sightseeing & Temples.Then 35 kms drive to Mussoorie with packed lunch. On the way visit Malsi deer park, Mussoorie sight seeing.After noon. Dinner and overnight stay in Camp or Hotel.
Day 2

Jawla Devi Trek (6 kms Trek)

After breakfast drive & 6 kms Trek to Jwala Devi with packed lunch from Jwala Devi view of Himalayan peaks, Yamuna river and Mussoorie valley. In the afternoon trek back to Camp/Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in camp or Hotel.

Day 3

Bhadraj Temple Trek ( 12 kms Trek )

Early morning we will go for 12 kms trek to Bhadraj temple with packed lunch. From Bhadraj temple view of Himalayan peaks, Shivalik ranges, Doon valley, Dakpather and Asan Barrage. In the afternoon 12 kms Trek back to George Everest camp or Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in camp/hotel.

Day 4

Kempty Fall Trek - Mussoorie - Rishikesh

After breakfast 8 kms trek to Kempty Fall with packed lunch. After having bath in Kempty Fall drive back to Mussoorie and then drive to Dehradun 50 kms. Sightseeing & Temples. and then drive to Rishikesh 45/60 kms. Arrival at Rishikes tour end.

Normally Ganga Valley Adventure expect to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you don't want to carry your backpack so you can give it to porter, but you have to informe us in advance and have to pay Rs. 300/- extra per day per bag.
