The Adventures Beyond 2 Day Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventure departs Adelaide at 6.15am where we pick you up from your Adelaide CBD accommodation. We drive down the Western side of the Fleurieu Peninsula, before boarding the SEALINK ferry at 9am. After the 45 minute ferry ride across Backstairs Passage (good chance of seeing dolphins) we arrive at Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island around 10am.

The tour highlights Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch, Seal Bay, Vivonne Bay, Pennington Bay, Stokes Bay, Flinders Chase National Park, Penneshaw and more. Kangaroo Island is special for all the Australian wildlife and you can expect to see Kangaroo's, wallaby, Australian Sea Lions, Fur seals, Koala, possums and birdlife. We do our best to see goanna, echidna, dolphins and platypus.

Pick ups can also be arranged from Port Elliot and Victor Harbor on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Once on Kangaroo Island, we set off in search of wildlife and adventure. Our guides have the power to tailor the itinerary depending on the weather and the group. With Adventures Beyond, you are on an adventure with a maximum of 21 people, giving us flexibility and enabling us to visit the best places at the best times, on every tour.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Wildlife Viewing and Adventure on Kangaroo Island

  Day 1 on Kangaroo Island is a mixture of wildlife and adventure. Search for dolphins as you cross backstairs passage to Kangaroo Island on the ferry, enjoy a walk to the top of the look out over Pennington Bay at Prospect Hill. Explore Flinders Chase National Park, see wildlife like kangaroo's, echidna, goanna and koalas. See sights like Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and the koala sanctuary. Enjoy kayaking (summer only) at Vivonne Bay, see the south coast and enjoy an optional quad bike adventure. This day is action packed and great fun. At night, sit around the campfire, share stories and enjoy a nocturnal activity at the farm stay accommodation.

• Day 2 : Wildlife Viewing and Adventure on Kangaroo Island

  On day 2 on this fun adventure tour of Kangaroo Island you will get active while sandboarding on the sand dunes of Little Sahara (like surfing on sand), you will visit the north coast beaches like Stokes Bay and you can go snorkelling if you desire (summer months only). We take you on a guided beach walk with a ranger to get up close and personal with the Sea Lions at Seal Bay, you will see more amazing sights and scenery on the island as well as search out more wildlife you didn't see the day before. We depart Kangaroo Island at around 5.30pm before arriving in Adelaide at approximately 8pm.
