Checkout and head towards Leh en-route short halts at three monasteries- Alchi monastery (only monastery in Ladakh on flat ground), Likir monastery, located near bank of river Indus is a house to 75 feet tall statue of golden Maitreya Buddha, followed by a visit to Spituk monastery. Further visit Magnetic hill (gravity defiance point), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and Leh Hall of Fame (Kargil War memorabilia). Overnight in Leh.

After breakfast visit to Leh Palace, built in 17th century the palace shows panoramic view of Leh city. Then proceed to Shanti Stupa, a white domed stupa constructed by Japanese and Ladakh Buddhists in 1991, followed by Sankar Gompa also known as Sankar monastery located in northern part of city.
