Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Srinagar Airport

Shalimar GardenNishat BaghMughal Gardens

Arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer to Hotel/House boat in Srinagar Afternoon tour of famous Mughal gardens visit; the Nishat Bagh (the garden of pleasure) Shalimar garden (abode of love) & hashmashahi (The royal spring). Evening ride by Shikara to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens. Overnight stay at Hotel / House boat.

Day 2 Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (58 Kms One Way)

After breakfast leave Hotel / Houseboat & proceed for full day excursion tour of Gulmarg (8700 fts)”Meadow of Flowers “.Gulmarg has a famous Golf course during summer (which is one of the highest 18-holes golf course in the world ) & ski resort during winter. Return back to Srinagar for dinner & overnight in Hotel.

Day 3 Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar (96 Kms One Way )

After breakfast leave Hotel / Houseboat & proceed for full day excursion tour of Pahalgam (7200 fts) “Village of Shepherds “enroute visiting the world famous saffron growing fields, Awantipura ruins (9th century ) & martand Temple ( sun temple ).Pahalgam also famous for Indian film industry, some tracking routs & also base camp for Amarnath pilgrimage. Return back to Srinagar for dinner & overnight in Houseboat/hotel.

Day 4 Srinagar –sonmarg-srinagar ( 2.5 Hours Drive One Way)

After breakfast leave Houseboat for full day tour of Sonamarg (Meadows of Gold), it has sheer scenic splendour. The very way-a metalled road snakes through massive mountains laden with forests and firs. After a breath-taking journey from Srinagar you come across River Sindh that is abounded with trout & Mahseer. Onwards the valley opens up to a meadow. Ponies can be hired for a trip up to Thajiwas glacier ; a major attraction during the summer months. Sonamarg's importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. You will be fascinated to see Snowy Mountains against a cerulean sky against its backdrop. Return to Srinagar for overnight stay at house boat/hotel .

Day 5 Departure To Srinagar Airport
