Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Jammu - Onto Pahalgam (270kms / Approx. 7 Hour Drive)

Welcome to Jammu, the city of temples. On arrival at Jammu airport or railway station, starts your tour of ‘Kashmir-Paradise on Earth‘ .You will drive to Pahalgam. Arrive Pahalgam and check into your hotel
Day 2

In Pahalgam

The day is at leisure to admire the beauty of this quiet place. One can enjoy a pony ride to nearby places like Chandanwari (ponies can be hired directly) or simply walk along the river, Lidder.
Day 3

To Srinagar (97 Kms / Approx. 4 Hour Drive)

Today, you will drive to Srinagar. Enroute visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On arrival into Srinagar, check into your hotel / houseboat. In the afternoon visit the temple of Shankaracharya and the Mughal Gardens
Day 4

Excursion To Sonmarg (82 Kms. / Approx. 4 Hour Drive, One-way)

Today you will proceed on a day excursion to Sonmarg, the ‘Meadow of Gold’. Enjoy a pony ride on the glacier (ponies can be hired directly).
Day 5

Day Excursion To Gulmarg (52 Kms / Approx. 2 Hour Drive, One-way

Dal Lake

Drive to Gulmarg, also known as the ‘Meadow of Flowers’. Enjoy a fun-filled pony ride and gondola rides (on direct payment). Later, return to Srinagar. In the evening experience a romantic “shikara ride” on the Dal Lake.
Day 6

To Katra (270 Kms / Approx. 7 Hour Drive)

This morning drive to Katra where you will check into your hotel on arrival. The evening is spent at leisure.
Day 7

In Katra

Today embark on a 14 km trek to the Vaishnodevi Mata shrine (ponies can be hired on direct payment basis). After darshan you will return to your hotel late at night.
Day 8

To Jammu (56 Kms / Approx 2 Hour Drive) Return Home With Happy Memories

Time to bid farewell to your ‘Kashmir-Paradise on Earth‘ tour, as you are transferred to Jammu airport or Jammu railway station for your journey onward.
