Day 1 : Arrive Srinagar - Local Sightseeing
You will be transferred to Houseboat. Proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankracharya temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens-Chashmashahi, Nishat & Shalimar.
These gardens were Mughal Emperors concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots.
Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-Shawls, Jackets, Bed Covers, Paper Mache, Carpets & much more! In the evening leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake exploring the local markets . Overnight stay at the Houseboat
Day 2 : Gulmarg -Beyond The Beauty
Greet the early morning sun, and get refreshed. Today you are going to visit Gulmarg. After reaching Gulmarg, you are going to experience nature at its best. Serene lakes, snaking rivers, gorgeous meadows, sky kissing mountains, pine-scented slopes, and a series of multicolored flowers make Gulmarg a perfect spot to enjoy amidst nature. Day 3 : Explore Gulmarg
You will be mesmerized by its beauty. Gulmarg is famous all over the world for Skiing and Snowboarding. During the British Raj, Gulmarg hosted the Britishers and Europeans and as such they created a European hill resort and named it Gulmarg. In Gulmarg you would be able to find European surroundings and 18-hole Golf Course and enjoy Gandola Cable car Ride worlds highest and the Asias longest cable car ( at your own cost). Enjoy Photography, horse riding and shopping at this beautiful snow point and enjoy gondola ride to Kongdoori to Appahrwhat. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.
Day 4 : Gulmarg To Srinagar
After breakfast drive towards Srinagar. Relish The beauty of Kashmir valley and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains. Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar
Day 5 : Excursion to Sonamarg
Today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque ‘meadow of gold’ Sonamarg.
Sonamarg is last stop of Kashmir district. From here starts the territory of ladhakh.
Situated at an altitude of 2743m above sea level. The fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and masher fishing in summer.
You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment).
Overnight stay at houseboat Srinagar in the evening and enjoy comfortable overnight stay.
Day 6 : Explore Doodhpathri -Valley Of Milk
Yet another recently developed beautiful place of the Paradise Kashmir is Doodhpathri, located in the Budgam district. The region is literally meaning valley of milk is a beautiful resort with carpet like meadows. It is located about 42 km from Srinagar. The area is rich in the production of milk, hence the name “Doodhpathri”. It is also believed that the cattle who graze in the meadows of this place give a large quantity of milk and that is why it is called DoodhPathri .Doodhpathri is a beautiful meadow with emerald grass that looks like a green carpet. A beautiful river dancing and reverberating with the wind flows in the middle of the meadow, lending it a splendid charm and vibrancy. Late afternoon drive back to your destination. overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar
Day 7 : Explore Verinag
After breakfast proceed to Verinag. The Verinag Spring, named after Nila Nag, the son of the famous Hindu sage Kashyap Rishi. The spring, which was originally shaped in a circular form was given a change of shape during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1620, when he gave orders to renovate the spring in the Mughal traditional shape of an octagon. Today, picturesque in its settings and surrounded by tall Pine trees, the Verinag Spring is characterized by waters which are calm and sparklingly clear. Besides a glimpse of the Verinag Spring, a tour to Verinag is made even more special by the sight of several varieties of colorful flowers, gently swaying to the rhythm of the cool, mountain air. In the evening back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 8 : Return Home with Happy Memories
After breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport for your onwards journey with Everlasting Memories
