Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Srinagar - Arrival and Sightseeing

  Arrive Srinagar airport, Assistance on arrival & proceed to Hotel Check-in .Srinagar is also known as “Paradise on Earth" & " Venice of Asia". In the afternoon leave for sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens visiting Cheshmashahi (the Royal Spring ), Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure ) , Shalimar (The Abode of Love ) & famous Shanakrancharya temple. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

• Day 2 : Srinagar to Sonamarg - Day Trip

  After breakfast leave for full day excursion tour of Sonamarg (9000 fts a.s.l ) “The Golden Meadow" . Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonder and. Surrounded by mountains up to 5300 feet high Peaks .The valley is divided by a spur of the “Thajiwas Range/Glaciers “.After Sonamarg, there is a Point called Zero point (Done by local Cab) & Thajiwas Glacier (Done by Ponies).Return back to Srinagar Dinner and overnight in Srinagar hotel.

• Day 3 : Srinagar to Doodhpathri - Day Trip

  After Breakfast leave for day trip to doodhpathri. Doodhpathri means a ‘Valley of Milk’ and the reason why it’s called that is because the water flowing through the meadows here looks like milk from a distance. There’s also a story which goes back in time. It is believed that when the famous saint of Kashmir Sheikh-ul-Alam once prayed here, and pricked the ground with his stick to get some water, milk started oozing out instead, on the rocks. Since Doodhpathri is a part of the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, it is a staggering altitude of 8,957 feet above sea level. There’s snow-capped mountains to be seen everywhere, and gorgeous meadows of pine, fir and cedar at every step. These meadows are covered with snow all winter, allowing the growth of wild flowers such as daisies, forget-me-nots and butter cups during spring and summer. Doodhpathri doesn’t have a permanent settlement; it is inaccessible during winter due to heavy snowfall. In summer, however, shepherds from the nearby Budgam district bring cattle here for grazing and make base at Doodhpathri for about six months. Later in the evening return to srinagar for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 4 : Srinagar to Gulmarg - Transfer and Sightseeing

  After breakfast check –out from hotel & proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) that lies 2730 meters above sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course with 18 holes. Take the Gondola cable car ride and ascend towards the Affarwat Mountain range. The 8-minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwat peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. After taking in the enchanting views of the mountains for an hour or so,descend back to Gulmarg base. Experience some horse-riding to the meadows. Overnight stay in Gulmarg Hotel.

• Day 5 : Gulmarg to Pahalgam - Transfer with on the way Sightseeing

  After breakfast leave hotel & proceed to Pahalgam (7200 fts a.s.l ) " Valley of Shepherds” en-route visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields, Awantipora ruins (9th Century).Pahalgam is famous for Indian film industry, some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. On reaching Pahalgam, one can go ton Aru, Betaab Valley & Chandanwari (Done by Local Cab). Dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam.

• Day 6 : Pahalgam - Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast one has the full day to enjoy & explore the beauty of Pahalgam. One can go to Chandanwari (16 Kms ) which is the starting point of Shri Amarnath Pilgrimage “ The Abode of Shiva” , Aru ( 10 Kms from Pahalgam ) has a fine Meadows of Picturesque scenery & starting point of trekking of (Liddarwat, Kola hoi Glaciers, Tarsar Lake etc. ). Overnight at Pahalgam Hotel.

• Day 7 : Pahalgam to Srinagar - Transfer

  After breakfast morning free at leisure, afternoon drive back to Srinagar. Distance of 96 kms will be covered in about 3 hrs. On arrival in Srinagar, transfer to Hotel and overnight stay.

• Day 8 : Srinagar - Departure

  After breakfast checkout from Hotel & Proceed to Srinagar airport to board the flight for onward destination.
