Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Srinagar Airport / Local Sightseeing

  Meet upon Arrival transfer to Houseboat at DAL LAKE to relax and acclimatize. After relax and acclimatize. Afternoon Visit to famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar ( Abode of Love) Mughal laid Out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar City & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing panoramic view of entire City, along with famous Dal-Lake & River Jehlum, evening return back to Houseboat at Dal Lake.

• Day 2 : Srinagar-Sonmarg- Srinagar (90KM / Approx 3-4 Hours Drive

  Today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque 'meadow of gold’ Sonamarg. The fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment). Return to the Hotel in Srinagar in the evening and enjoy comfortable overnight stay at Hotel.
  
  Note: The vehicle will drop and pick you up at Sonamarg car stand. To reach the glaciers, you can hire ponies by your own payment basis.

• Day 3 : Srinagar - Pahalgam (102KM / Approx 03-4 Hours Drive)

  Early in the morning check-out from hotel and leave for Pahalgam the 'valley of shepherds' which is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnag lake. En route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. On arrival into Pahalgam enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaren, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. A small village set in pine and fir forest is pleasing and offers good view. In Evening we drive to Pahalgam for night stay at Hotel.

• Day 4 : Pahalgam - Free for Leisure (85 KM / Approx 03-4 Hours Drive)

  Today's morning, leave for the sight-seeing of Aru Valley & Betaab Valley for the full day at your own (Directly paid on the spot) . Evening, drive back to the hotel. Have dinner & overnight stay,

• Day 5 : Pahalgam -Srinagar (102KM / Approx 03-4 Hours Drive)

  Transfers from Pahalgam to Srinagar. Enroute visiting the Awantipura Ruins of 9th Century & Mattan Temple Complex. In Afternoon, visit Mogul Gardens "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure) and "Shalimar" (Abode of All). Drive along the Lake side on Boulevard On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jewellery ornaments. Also visit Shankaracharya Temple. Overnight at the Hotel

• Day 6 : Srinagar- Gulmarg- Srinagar (85KM / Approx 2-3 Hours Drive

  After breakfast leave for Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow-capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. Stroll leisurely or take pony rides (by your own payment) across the green meadow to one of the world's highest Golf Course. A must is a fun-filled ride in the Gondola lift (by your own payment). Return to Srinagar in the evening and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 7 : Srinagar – Yusmarg – Srinagar (49 k.m.1-2 hrs)

  After Breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Yusmarg. Yusmarg is a small meadow set in the heart of mountains to the south-west of Srinagar. It is an ideal picnic spot and the Nilnag Lake can be visited from here. A two hour drive from Srinagar (47 kms ) will take you to acres upon acres of grassy meadow ringed by forests of pine, and towering beyond them, awesome and majestic snow clad mountains. Laterreturn to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

  Today's morning, after breakfast, leave for the local shopping at Srinagar. Enjoy you day free for leisure. Evening, have dinner & overnight stay.
