Kedarnath Temple (Sanskrit: केदारनाथ मंदिर, IAST: Kēdāranātha Mandira, lit. 'temple of the God of the field') is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. The temple is located on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river, in the state of Uttarakhand, India. Due to extreme weather conditions, the temple is open to the general public only between the months of April (Akshaya Tritiya) and November (Kartik Purnima, the autumn full moon). During the winters, the vigraha (deity) of the temple is carried down to Ukhimath to be worshipped for the next six months. Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1

    HARIDWAR – SONPRAYAG (SITAPUR) (215 KMS: 08 HRS)

    Arrive Haridwar and drive towards Guptkashi/ Sitapur.
    1700 hrs. On arrival check in at the hotel.
    2000 hrs. Dinner - Overnight stay at the hotel.

    Activities : Mountaineering , Sightseeing

  • Day 2

    (SITAPUR)-SONPRAYAG-KEDARNATH (18 KMS DRIVES+20 KM TREK/07-08 HRS)

    Kedarnath Temple

    0600 hrs after early morning breakfast and drive to Sonprayag. From where, you will start your 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (Cost Not Included). Mandakini, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund.
    On arrival check in at Camps/Lodges.
    Dinner and Overnight at Camps/Lodges.

  • Day 3

    KEDARNATH– SONPRAYAG – HARIDWAR (20 KM TREK DOWN & 231 KMS DRIVES)

    Early morning gets up and after taking bath you are at the temple by 4:45 am for the 'Abhishek' to Kedarnath Shiva. Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol. You can also prostrate with your head touching the deity etc. Later you'll start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. The vehicles wait for you in Sonprayag Car Parking and you'll drive to Haridwar

CONDITIONS

  • All confirmations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Rates/itineraries/payment terms are subject to change without any prior notice.
  • For Ac Vehicle A/c will work only in the plains and will be switched-off during hill drives.
  • Children below 5 years accommodation will be on complimentary basis sharing parent’s room and breakfast charges as applicable.
  • The given cost is inclusive of all services mentioned in the quotation and no refund will be processed for any service which is not avail by guest once in tour.
  • Please note standard check in time is 1400 hrs & check out time is 1000 hrs. Late Checkout depends on availability of Rooms, also with supplement charges. Please inform us the arrival departure timing of our guest in advance for confirms services and supplement charges occur.
  • Activities related to water sports/adventure trekking are subject to weather and wind conditions on the ground.
  • In case of non-availability of rooms in above quoted hotels we’ll give you accommodation at the other similar hotels available.
  • In case of road blocks due to heavy snow only chain vehicle will work in hill areas our taxi will not work so client has to book chain vehicle for hotel transfers on direct payment at the point.
  • Any cancellation or delay in hotel check in due to third party services (like helicopter / pony / palaki), the retention will be charged. The next allocation for the hotels on same destination is subject to the availabilities.
  • Any sightseeing missed due to natural calamities / weather conditions / for any unforeseen reasons is non-refundable or non-adjustable.

Payments Terms

  • 50% of the total billing amount to be paid in advance at the time of booking confirmation.
  • 25% of the total billing amount to be paid 30 days prior to the travel date.
  • Balance 25% of the total billing amount to be paid 15 days prior to the travel date.
  • In case the booking is made within 30 days of travel 75% of the amount to be paid at the time of confirmation and if the booking is made within 15 days of travel, 100% advance is required at the time of confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

  • Booking date to 60 days prior to date of arrival – No cancellation charges. Only a convenience fee of Rs. 1000.00 per person will be charged for domestic trips and for international trips convenience fee would be INR. 2000.00 per person
  • If the booking is cancelled 60-30 Days prior to date of arrival - 25% of the total bill will be charged.
  • If the booking is cancelled 29-16 Days prior to date of arrival – 50% of the total bill will be charged.
  • If the booking is cancelled 15 Days less prior to date of arrival – 100% of the total bill will be charged.
  • Note: - above cancellation policy only applicable for all packages without flights. * Upon cancellation, refund will be made after deducting the Retention Amount.

* Refund will be made within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the cancellation.
