THINGS TO CARRY
Essential list of things to be carried for the trek.
Trekking shoes - Carry water proof trek shoes with good grip and ankle support.
Dry-fit T-shirts - Full sleeve t-shirts help you against sun burn and will dry fast in case if it gets wet.
Woollen cap - It will be cold, so carry a proper woollen cap.
Torch - Its recommended to carry a headlamp or torch for night usage.
Warm Clothes - Carry two or three-layer jackets, fleece jackets and a padded jacket.
Thermal wear - Carry thermals for both top and bottom.
Waterproof hand gloves - Carry only water proof gloves and avoid woollen gloves.
Raincoat - Raincoat or poncho comes to protect us from the rain or snowfall during the trek
Trek Pants - Carry two or three-layer jackets, fleece jackets and a padded jacket.
Sunglasses - Sunglasses are mandatory to protect your eyes from snow reflections.
Socks - Carry 3 pairs socks and a pair of woollen socks
Lunch box & Water bottle Every participant should have their own lunch box and water bottle (prefer insulated one).

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Ahmedabad to Haridwar

Train Name: Ahmedabad-Rishikesh Yoga Express (19031)
Departure Time: 10:50 AM
Reporting Time: 09:45 AM
Reporting Place: Ahmedabad Junction

Day 2 : Haridwar

After reaching at Haridwar, the day is left free for participants to explore Haridwar.
Overnight stay at Haridwar With Dinner And Breakfast
- Themes : Mountaineering
Day 3 : Reporting at Sankri 6400 ft

Report by 4 PM at Sankri Base camp.
Members have to reach Sankri by themselves.
Registration and Orientation from 5 to 7 PM.
Allotment of items like Rucksack, Gaiters, Micro spikes and Trekking Poles Acclimatisation walk
Overnight stay at Sankri base camp.

Day 4 : 4 km - 5 hrs Sankri - Juda ka Talab 9100 ft

Start by 7 AM for the trek to Juda ka Talab.
Spot woodpeckers on the way as they are pretty common in the region.
Encounter a larger green meadow on the way, which is generally used as lunch point for the trekkers.
Overnight stay at Juda ka Talab Camp

Day 5 : 4 km - 4 hrs Judaeka talab — Kedarkantha base camp 11250 ft

Start by 7 AM for the trek to Kedarkantha base camp.
The entire route is totally covered with snow so start early to suit against the snow conditions.
At night, the snow-clad mountain peaks shine bright as the moon, the peak of Kedarkantha becomes
distinctly visible.
Sleep early to get ready for the early summit push for the peak, the next day.

Day 6 : 6 km - 7 hrs Kedarkantha base — Kedarkantha Peak — Hargaon 12500 ft

The day starts early with a wakeup call at 3 AM for the summit push.
The summit offers some of the most spectacular views of Yamunotri and Gangotri Ranges.
The descent from the peak follows the same route till Kedarkantha Base camp.
Participants will have hot lunch and continue the descent till Hargaon, the day's camp.

Day 7 : Sankri to Haridwar

After reaching Sankri, we will board the vehicles and start driving back towards Haridwar.
Arrive in Haridwar by around late afternoon 6.00 PM.

Departure from Haridwar To Ahmedabad.

Inclusions

Accommodation
Stay will be in tents on triple sharing basis. You can also avail double sharing by paying Rs.1000/- extra
per person.
Clock Room
Members can keep their extra luggage at base camp.
Meals
Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner are included. We provide simple, nutritious Veg/Jain food on all days
of the trek.
Rucksack
A 60 litre bag with rain cover is provided for use during the trek. Members will return it once done with
their trek.
Camping charges
All trekking permits and forest camping charges are included.
Trekking Equipment
High quality tents and sleeping bags in all the camps. Sleeping bags can withstand temperatures as low as
-10 °C.
Safety equipment and Emergency
First aid kit, oxygen cylinders, oximeter etc. will be with Trek Leader and at camp site as well to deal
with emergencies.

How To Book

Booking Procedure Members can book the trek directly from the google pay and phonepe by paying an advance of 5000 at the time of booking. Balance amount has to be paid 15 days prior to the event date. Reminder mail will be sent for the same.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation charges are as under.
Cancellation before 15 days to thestart of the trek — Rs. 2,000.
Cancellation within 15 days to the start of the trek no refund
Rescheduling/Postpone/trek change is possible till next 6 months, but need to inform 15 days before the trek date. If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rains, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, pandemic etc) no amount will be refunded. According to the situation will be providing some alternatives.

Camp Rule

Toilets
2-4 toilet tents will be pitched at every camp site depending upon group size. Do not carry toilet papers or wet wipes since these are not biodegradable. If you do happen to use wet wipes to clean up after a trek, make sure you bring them back with you.

Drinking And Smoking

Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited. Buying drugs or any illegal material is strictly prohibited, the participant will be detained and handed over to the government authority

Safety

Our camp leaders will conduct routine health checks at all camps to measure oxygen saturation, blood pressure. Camp leader reserves the right to exclude any trekker from climbing higher on the trek without refund if the trekker's vital readings are below accepted norms for that altitude. These norms are available with our camp leaders. Your trek leader will also be carrying medical kit which includes basic first aid and high-altitude sickness medicines and will also be carrying a oxygen cylinder throughout the trek

Change Of Trek Plan

Under some extraordinary circumstance, your trek may end a day earlier or start a day later due to inclement weather, snow and ice conditions, political restrictions or any other cause. In the event of a change, postponement or delay, participants have no right to refund of the trek or other compensation for any injury, loss or damage
