You can trek to Kedarkantha throughout the year, except during July and August due to heavy rainfall. Stretching over 20 km in a span of 5 days, this trek is perfect for beginners. It begins from Sankri village, a common starting point for various Trek in Uttarakhand.

The trail starts from Sankri and goes deep in the wood of maple and oak, passing over several wooden bridges and streams before arriving at the first campsite, Juda-ka-Taal.

  Pickup timing - 7 am

• Transport to and from the base camp
• You will be picked up from Hotel Grand Legacy (near Laal Pull), Dehradun. This costs Rs.6,500 per vehicle (for a 5-6 seater SUV) and Rs. 10,000 per vehicle (for 11-12 seater Tempo Traveller) which is to be shared by trekkers and paid directly to the driver.
• Food during transit
• Any food you have during your travel to and from the base camp is in your own expense.
• Anything apart from inclusions
• Cloakroom
• We have a cloakroom facility available at the basecamp for extra luggage. Every trekker is permitted to leave behind one piece of luggage at no charge. Anything beyond one piece of luggage is chargeable at Rs 500 per luggage.
• (The luggage could be a backpack / suitcase / duffel bag or anything similar.).
• Rental gears
• You don't need to break the bank in order to get high-quality trekking gear. You spend 1/10th of the buying cost by renting. We have a range of products available on our rental store. View rental gear here.
• Backpack Offloading
• If you have any medical issues and are not able to carry your own backpack, you can offload your backpack. The cost of offloading on the Kedarkantha trek is Rs 1,680 for the trek. Find details about the offloading process here.
