Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Cochin & drive to Munnar

  Arrive Cochin airport by 1200 hrs and drive to Munnar (130 kms / 4. hrs). Munnar is one of the most famous hill station situated on the Western Ghats at the height of 1600 metres above the sea level. It is essentially a tea town – miles of unending tea plantation can be seen here. Enroute see Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls and Karadipara View Point. Also see Spice plantations, Rubber Plantations, Pineapple garden etc… Arrive and check into the hotel. Overnight at hotel

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 2 : Munnar

  After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Morning visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamala, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Nilgiri Thar can be observed very closely here. Later visit a tea factory and tea museum. Afternoon visit Mattupetty dam, Echo point and the Kundala Lake. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam. While coming back visit flower garden. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel
  
  Optional Activities at Munnar : Motor boat or speedboat ride at Mattupetty Dam, Elephant Safari, Trekking, Ayurveda Massage etc.

• Day 3 : Munnar to Thekkady

  After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady (110 kms / 3.30 hrs). Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Enroute visit Devikulam, Signal view Point, Anayirangal Dam, Spice Plantations etc. Arrive and check in to hotel. Afternoon enjoys a boating (on own) at man made lake and this is the only wild life sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close from the safety of a boat on the lake. The probable animals to watch are Bison, Gaur, Wild Elephants, Sambhar and a wide variety of birds. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel.
  Other activities available at Thekkady are : Boating at Lake Periyar, Spice Plantation tour, Ayurveda Massage, Martial Arts Kalaripayattu Show, Elephant ride, Nature Walk, Bamboo Rafting etc.

• Day 4 : kady to Kumarakom

  Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kumarakom (145 kms / 4 hrs) the backwater destination of Kerala. Arrive and check in to hotel. Evening go for a sunset cruise through Vembanad Lake (motor boat will cost around Rs. 400 per hour). Evening / next day morning visit the famous bird sanctuary. Overnight stay at Hotel.
  Option for Houseboat stay
  Arrive and check in to Houseboat which is also called as Kettuvallom (the boat will ready around 1200 hrs) and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes of Kerala. Your houseboat has a Double bedroom with attached toilet, a dining area cum sit out. Lunch, Evening Tea, Snacks and Dinner will be cooked and served on board by the accompanying cook. Overnight at Houseboat.

  • Hotspots : Vembanad Lake

• Day 5 : Kumarakom to Cochin to Cherai

  Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel, drive to Cochin (90 kms / 2 hrs) do Cochin sight seeing interesting places to see are Jew Street, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace (Mattanchery Palace) St. Francis Church, Fort Cochin, Chinese fishing nets etc. later drive to Cherai (40 kms / 1 hour). Arrive and check in to hotel, evening visit the beach very close to your hotel.

  • Hotspots : Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace

• Day 6 : Cherai to Cochin Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station drop

  Morning at leisure or visit Munambam Beach. / afternoon drop at Airport or railway station (40 kms / 1 hour) to depart your home town.
