• Day 1 : Cochin

  Arrive Cochin Airport and transfer to a rural area in the foothills of the Western Ghat mountains. Overnight at Dewalokam Retreat.

• Day 2 : Dewalokam

  Full day at this farm to relax and enjoy the area. Overnight at Dewalokam Retreat.

• Day 3 : Munnar

  Transfer by car to the hill station of Munnar and stay in a homestay that also operates as a flower nursery. Overnight Olive Brook.

• Day 4 : Olive Brook

  Day free to relax and explore the area. Overnight Olive Brook.

• Day 5 : Thekkady

  Transfer by car to Thekkady (Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary) and stay in a more modern homestay just outside the main town. Overnight Pepper County.

• Day 6 : Thekkady

  At leisure. Option to visit the wildlife sanctuary or walk in the local area. Overnight Pepper County.

• Day 7 : Pathanamthitta

  Transfer to Pathanamthitta. This area is very much off the tourist track and offers visitors an opportunity to see a rural farming area. Overnight Mannaas Veedu.

• Day 8 : Pathanamthitta

  Full day in Pathanamthitta. Overnight Mannaas Veedu.

• Day 9 : Nelpura

  Transfer to the Kerala backwaters. This unique area of Kerala is low lying and criss-crossed by waterways. Overnight Nelpura.

• Day 10 : Nelpura

  Nelpura stands on the bank of a canal leading to the river Pampa. Set amidst village India you have the opportunity to go cycling, walking or a visit to nearby school can be arranged by your host. Overnight Nelpura.

• Day 11 : Nelpura

  Transfer to your exclusive houseboat. Board in time for lunch. Spend the rest day relaxing, eating and being looked after by the attentive staff. Overnight on AC Houseboat.

• Day 12 : Nelpura

  Full day cruising the backwaters. The boat will stop at places of interest along the way where you can get off and explore. Overnight on AC Houseboat.

• Day 13 : Parayil

  Transfer to a traditional country home just outside the city in the village of Ezhupunna. Overnight Parayil.

• Day 14 : Parayil

  Take a walk, go cycling or visit the 200 year old church, adjacent to the family home. Parayil is not far from Cochin so you could visit the city as a day trip. Overnight Parayil Homestay.

  Transfer to Cochin airport for your return flight.
