About The Tour:-

  • A 09 days/ 08 nights motor bike tour including unlimited fun & challenge to one of the remotest regions of Himachal Pradesh, viz Kinnaur & Spiti valley. It involves visiting remote valleys, villages and crossing over high mountain passes Rohtang Pass (3980 m) & Kunzum Pass (4550 m) providing spectacular views of picturesque snow capped peaks, rugged terrain and old monasteries. The tour starts from Shimla which was once the capital of India during the British era and then continue to the Trans Himalayan Regions of Kinnaur & Spiti. Come prepared for every possible weather imaginable from scorching sunshine to freezing blizzards, even in mid-summers.




About The Motorbike ROYAL ENFIELD:-
  • Royal Enfield was the name under which the Enfield Cycle Company made motorcycles, bicycles, lawnmowers and stationary engines. This legacy of weapons manufacture is reflected in the logo, a cannon, and their motto \"Made like a gun, goes like a bullet\". Use of the brand name Royal Enfield was licensed by the Crown in 1890. The original Redditch, Worcestershire based company was sold to Norton-Triumph-Villiers (NVT) in 1968. Production ceased in 1970 and the company was dissolved in 1971.

    In 1956 Enfield of India started assembling Bullet motorcycles under license from UK components, and by 1962 were manufacturing complete bikes. Enfield of India bought the rights to use the Royal Enfield name in 1995. Royal Enfield production, based in Chennai, continues and Royal Enfield is now the oldest motorcycle brand in the world still in production with the Bullet model enjoying the longest motorcycle production run of all time.

    Day wise Itinerary

    • Day 1

      Shimla/ Narkanda (69 kms/ 3-4 hrs)

      Kufri Tour,Kufri Shimla Tour,Skiing in Kufri

      On your Royal Enfield bikes from Shimla to Narkanda enroute visiting Kufri. On arrival check in at hotel/ camp. Later you have option to ride up till Hatu Peak (3300 m) to enjoy a magnificent view of the region. Overnight at hotel/ camp.

      Narknda/ Sangla (200 kms/ 7-8 hrs)

      On your bikes from Naraknda to Sangla enroute visiting the famous Bhimakali temple in Sarahan, regarded as one of the Shaktipeeths. Continue ride to Sangla. On arrival check in at camp. Overnight at camp.

    • Day 3

      Sangla/ Kalpa (103 kms/ 6 hrs)

      Morning a short ride up till visiting the picturesque village of Chitkul and later return back to Sangla and visit Kamru Fort & village. We continue our ride down Sangla Valley and then continue further to Kalpa. On arrival in Kalpa check in at hotel. Kalpa is a beautiful village located in the backdrop of Kinner Kailash Mountain range. Rest of the day free to explore the surrounding. Overnight at hotel.

    • Day 4

      Kalpa/ Nako (132 kms/ 6 hrs drive)

      Morning on your bikes to Nako enroute visiting confluence of river Satluj & Spiti at Khab. From here we continue our climb up to Nako. On arrival check in at camp. Evening free to explore Nako village which is located on banks of a lake and visit the monastery. Evening visit the village, the Buddhist temples with stucco images and murals and a rock where a footprint like impression is ascribed to Padmasambhava. Overnight at camp.

    • Day 5

      Nako/ Tabo/ Dhankar (90 kms/ 5 hrs)

      After an early breakfast at camp ride on to Tabo village along the Spiti river. Tabo monastery was founded in 996 AD by the great teacher Richensang-po, Tabo is renowned for its breathtaking murals and stucco images - and is often called "The Ajanta of the Himalayas". The largest monastic complex in Spiti, the old section has 9 temples, 23 chortens, a monks chamber and a nuns chamber. There are several caves adorned with frescoes and contemporary structures too. In trans Himalayan Buddhism, Tabo’s sanctity is next only to Tibet’s Tholing gompa. Later continue biking to Dhankar village & monastery. This Monastery at Dhankar rests high over the valley and is a stupendous example of local architecture. It is regarded to have once been a fort and was also the residence of the ruler of Spiti - the Nano. Overnight at Guest House in Dhankar.

      Dhankar/ Lalung/ Pin Valley/ Kaza (Full day)

      Morning visit Dhankar monastery. Later we ride to visit the old monastery at Lalung village and then ride to Pin Valley, the land of Ibex and Snow Leopards. Here we also visit Gungri Monastery and then continue our biking to Kaza. On arrival in Kaza check in and overnight at hotel.

    • Day 7

      In Kaza

      Morning visit the Ki monastery, 12 kms from Kaza. This centuries - old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors - and at one time also acted as a fort. It houses valuable Thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Also visit the small gompa at Kibber, 9 kms further ahead. Kibber at 4205 m has the distinction of being the highest permanently inhabited village of the region. Ride back to Kaza and evening free to explore the town. Overnight at hotel.

    • Day 8

      Kaza/ Chandertal (170 kms/ 6-7 hr)

      On your bikes from Kaza to base of Chandertal lake enroute crossing some very beautiful villages of Spiti Valley and crossing over Kunzam pass (4558 m). On arrival check in at camp. Rest of the day free to explore the surrounding. Overnight at hotel.

    • Day 9

      Chandertal/ Manali (116 kms/ 7 hrs)

      Early morning by walk (1 hrs one way) to visit Chandertal (The moon lake - 4270 m) which is of exquisite beauty between a lower ridge and the main Kunzum range, the outlet being into Chandra river. Enjoy the charming scenery and ride your Royal Enfield bikes to Manali, riding along the Chandra river on the dirt road providing views of Bara Shigri Glacier and CB ranges. From Gramphu we climb our way up to Rohtang Pass (3980 m) and then meandering our way down to Manali where the tour ends.
