Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Drive from Chandigarh/Manali to Jibhi/Gushaini (Tirthan Valley) (approx. 7-8 hours).

  Drive from the plains into the beautiful, less-commercialized Tirthan Valley near the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP). Check into a local homestay or guesthouse in the charming village of Jibhi or Gushaini. Spend the evening relaxing by the serene Tirthan River and enjoying the quiet valley atmosphere.

• Day 2 : Exploration Day: Jalori Pass and Serolsar Lake.

  Take a morning drive up to Jalori Pass (3120m), which offers expansive views of the surrounding mountains. From the pass, enjoy an easy, enchanting hike through dense oak and pine forests to Serolsar Lake, a sacred lake surrounded by thick woodlands. Return to the Tirthan Valley homestay by evening.

• Day 3 : Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) Day Hike to Rolla.

  Drive to the GHNP Gate and begin a beautiful, moderate hike along the Tirthan River to Rolla (GHNP's entry point). This hike offers a deep dive into the park’s pristine biodiversity, without needing permits for the core zone. Keep an eye out for rare birds and local fauna before returning to the homestay.

• Day 4 : Drive from Tirthan Valley to Kasol (Parvati Valley) (approx. 4-5 hours).

  Drive out of the Tirthan Valley and head towards the adjacent Parvati Valley. The journey is scenic, passing through the Kullu Valley. Arrive at Kasol, a popular, vibrant hub, or the quieter nearby village of Manikaran (famous for its hot springs and Gurudwara), for an overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Exploration Day: Kasol to Chalal Trek and Local Cafe Culture.

  Enjoy the unique atmosphere of Kasol. Take a beautiful, easy 30-minute riverside hike through a pine forest to the traditional village of Chalal. Spend the day by the river, exploring the local cafes, and enjoying the distinct international and local culture of the Parvati Valley.

• Day 6 : Drive from Kasol/Parvati Valley to Chandigarh/Manali (approx. 8-10 hours).

  After a final mountain breakfast, begin the long drive back towards the plains or to Manali for onward travel. The journey is a picturesque descent along the Beas River, concluding the tranquil and nature-focused tour of the lower and central Himachal ranges.
