After breakfast, continue your adventurous motorbike riding to Kargil, 204 km approx from Srinagar. Pass across Drass village (world's second coldest region after sebria), Zojila Pass (Gateway of Ladakh), Sonamarg (Meadow of gold), halt at Sonamarg for refreshment then continue to Srinagar. This contains several stupas, statues, thangkas, wall paintings and a large pillar depicting Buddha’s teachings. Later continues drive to visit Hemis  monastery which was built in 1630 and It houses some beautiful wall paintings, thangka and several other historic objects.
