Arrival at Udaipur Airport. On arrival at Udaipur meet & greet our local assistance. Head towards your Hotel in your pre booked vehicle. Udaipur was built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as one of the most romantic city of Rajasthan and arguably in all India. The ex-royal family remains influential and in recent decades has been the driving force behind the rise of Udaipur as a tourist destination. Later visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends), Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Cruise through the placid waters of Lake Pichola at sunset. Overnight on Hotel

After breakfast, excursion to Eklingji temples, in the village of Kailashpuri only 22kms north of Udaipur. The fascinating Eklingji Temple Complex, with its 108 temples, attracts lots of pilgrims and tourist every year. Constructed from sandstone and marble, it has an elaborately pillared hall under a large pyramidal roof and features a four-faced, black-marble image of Eklingji, an incarnation of Shiva and the family deity of the Mewar royal family. The town has in all about 70 temples. Later visit Nagda Temple. About 1km back towards Udaipur then 1km to the west, Nagda was an early Mewar capital, established in the 7th century. The 10th-century Saas Bahu Temples – the name meaning ‘mother-in-law daughter-in-law’ – are dedicated to Vishnu and feature fine, intricate carvings, including a number of erotic figures. The Jain temple of Adbudji remains very fine, despite damage at the hands of the Mughals, and contains a 15th-century black-marble idol of tirthankar Shanti Nath. There are also some small temples submerged in the nearby lake. On entering the main hall of this temple, you are greeted by a mesmerizing fragrance and a silver image of ‘Nandi’. There are two more Nandi’s in the temple; one made of black stone and the other of brass. Shiva is worshipped here in the form of a four faced black marble image. Later you may visit City Palace sound and light show. Overnight at Hotel.
