Masai Mara is one of the most famous wildlife conservation areas in the world, with a rich & varied collection of African wildlife. This 4 days Masai Mara road safari departing from Nairobi offers travellers an amazing safari experience with accommodation in quality lodges or camps including six exciting, private gamedrives inside the main Maasai Mara National Reserve. This tour is ideal for tourists arriving on the morning flights into Nairobi from US, UK and India markets as they do not require an overnight stay in the city prior to the Safari. Travelers from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE if arriving on the Emirates and Ethihad flights will most likely require an overnight in Nairobi.
A typical Safari Itinerary is listed below. Note that prices vary depending on the month or season of travel, with July to October being peak season while April to mid June is low season.
Your Driver-Guide reports to your hotel for Start of the safari, with a 8am departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya's famous game reserve. (Drive time 5.5 hours). You will be in your own private and exclusive 4x4 Landcruiser Safari vehicle. You will stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of the largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space. Arrive at your camp in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Our Driver-Guide will try his best to show you not just the ''Big Five'' animals but the ''Big Nine'' as well. Return to your tented camp by 6.30pm.
Dinner and overnight at Governors Camp
You will be taken on two gamedrives today, one in the morning from 6.15am to 9am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. As your safari is private your gamedrive timings are flexible, useful if you are travelling with children, or are on a honeymoon. You may also choose to have a full day game drive [one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

You will be taken on two gamedrives today, one in the morning from 6.15am to 9am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. You may want to add a Maasai Village visit or a Hot air Balloon ride into your safari [Optional activities at additional cost - please enquire with us]. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.

After a relaxed breakfast and Check out by 8:30am. Proceed with return road transfer back to Nairobi with a brief morning game drive en-route. You are expected to exit the park by 10am. Arrive Nairobi by early afternoon [typically by 3pm] . Drop off at your hotel, or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
