Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Madurai Arrival – Drive To Courtallam (kutralam)

Morning:

Arrive in Madurai (airport/railway station).

Meet and greet by representative.

Depart for Courtallam, known as the Spa of South India for its medicinal waterfalls and scenic beauty.

Afternoon:

Check into your hotel/resort upon arrival.

After lunch, visit Main Falls (Peraruvi) and Five Falls (Aintharuvi) — enjoy the refreshing waters and scenic surroundings.

Evening:

Visit Kutralanathar Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva), located near the Main Falls.

Return to hotel, relax, and enjoy an evening walk through the pleasant hill air.

Day 2

Explore Courtallam & Tenkasi

Morning:

After breakfast, proceed to Old Falls (Pazhaya Courtallam) and Tiger Falls (Puliyaruvi) — ideal for peaceful bath and nature viewing.

Later, visit Tenkasi, just 5 km away, to see the magnificent Kasi Viswanathar Temple, a fine example of Dravidian architecture.

Afternoon:

Lunch at a local vegetarian restaurant.

Optional visit to Thenmala Eco Tourism Zone (around 40 km) – enjoy boating, hanging bridge walk, and lush forest views.

Evening:

Return to Courtallam.

Enjoy a relaxed Ayurvedic massage or herbal oil therapy (optional) — famous for rejuvenation.

Day 3

Courtallam – Madurai Departure

Morning:

Breakfast at hotel.

If time permits, enjoy a final dip at Five Falls or visit Chitraruvi and Honey Falls (Thenaruvi) for light trekking and photography.

Check out and drive back to Madurai.

Afternoon:

Arrive at Madurai and drop off at Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
