Manali To Leh Bike Expedition Tour

After breakfast, each individual will be provided with a motorbike and a local guide. You will drive along the Beas River upstream along the left bank through several villages, until you reach the Rohtang Pass (4050meter/13,287ft.). You will then drive down to reach in Gramphu, and then the passport check point at Koskar. Afterwards, you will carry on to reach in Keylong; the tribal district headquarters. Overnight halt is scheduled at Keylong.

After breakfast you'll leave for Pang. Today you are going to cross three high altitude passes and stop for the night at Pang. Pang, at a height of approx 15600 ft, has the world’s highest Transit camp, according to the Indian Army. Overnight stay will be in camps.

After the breakfast you will ride to Leh by passing through Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft, second highest motorable road in the world, reach Upshi for entry of tourist and tourist vehicle, from here drive along with banks of Indus river & Valley. Arrive at Leh by evening. Overnight is scheduled in hotel.

Morning after breakfast, ride to Thiksey village, visit Thiksey monastery and then to Shey Village to visit Shey Palace and Gompa. Later return to Leh for lunch (on your own). In the evening visit Leh Palace, Donkey Sanctuary and Shanti Stupa for beautiful sunset view. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh. Return to hotels for dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the World Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass. Arrive Nubra and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride (at your own expence). Later if time permits visit Hunder Sand Dunes and Diskit monastery and check in at Camp. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay will be in camp at Hunder.

Morning after breakfast proceed for Leh, once again ride via Khardungla pass the World Highest Motorable road. Evening explore Leh bazaar for souvenir, visit Leh Jokhang or Leh Mosque. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Gear up and speed off on the smooth tarmac to meet the Pangong Lake, traversing the Chang La (17586 ft) - the 3rd highest motorable pass in the world, left behind by Khardung La and Tanglang La. En route, pause for paying visits to the beautiful and peaceful monastaries around Leh – Hemis, Shey, Thiksey etc. Also, take some breaks in between to pose for snaps with the cascading waterfalls in the backdrop. On nearing the destination, walk the bikes to reach the tranquil lake, which was made famous after the filming of the iconic Bollywood film - 3 Idiots, at this very location. Overnight saty will be in Pangong Tso.

Have your breakfast early in the morning and get ready to head towards Leh. This will be the last day at Leh, so explore Leh the whole day. Shop at bazaars and visit the Shanti Stupa which is a Buddhist white-dome huge structure which overlooks Changspa. Enjoy a great view of the Indus Valley and the Zanskar range and go closer to nature.
