Manambolli rest house belongs to the forest department and is built in British style with a forest stream adjoining the place of stay. The Anamalai Tiger Reserve is home to variety of wild life which includes elephant, tiger, leopard, bear, gaur, Nilgiri langur, lion tailed macaque, dholes, sambar deer, spotted deer and a variety of reptile species.
