About Solang Valley
Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund.
Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes.

The Mountaineering Institute ofManali has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali.
Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organised in Solang Valley.
Sking and Paragliding are two main activities are organised here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding& Snow Motor Bikes riding etc.

After breakfast at hotel drive to Nagar, Situated on the left bank of river Beas at an altitude of 1851m, Nagger - an ancient town commands extensive views, especially to the North West of the valley. Nagger was the former capital of Kullu. It was founded by Raja Visudhpal and continued as a headquarters of the State until the capital was transferred to Sultanpur (Kullu) by Jagat Singh in 1460 A.D. Today this ancient and beautiful Palace is a popular tourist spot & enjoy other activities paragliding, River Rafting, River Crossing, Rappelling & Rock Climbing. Evening Proceed to Volvo Station & Drive Delhi to catch onwards Flight/Train & back to home with sweet memories!!!!!!!!!!!

Nagger Castle:
                              ”For art lovers, Naggar has incredible art pieces on display. Worth-mentioning are the paintings of Nicholas Roerich- the famous Russian painter. As souvenirs, you can take home traditional items like wall hangings, coasters and artifacts bearing imprints of Roerich's paintings from here. Now you can also enjoy newly opened activities in Naggar Castle the most commonly offered are parachuting, paragliding, skating and Zorbing. Snow melts during the summer months starting May and skiing is then replaced by Zorbing (a giant ball with room for 2 people which is rolled down a 200 meter hill), paragliding, parachuting and horse riding. A ropeway was recently opened. Going to the summit can be possible by ATVs, Ropeway or Climbing (Trekking).
