Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi - Masai Mara

  Pick up after the breakfast from your Nairobi hotel at around 07:30Am. Then Proceed for the Masai Mara Game Reserve with the first stop over at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley which is about 45min from the city center. The stop normally takes about 10-15min and its at this point also you can visit the showrooms before embarking on the road again heading to Narok town for lunch. After lunch you will have another 2-3 hours drive on a bumpy road leading to the famous Masai Mara which has become the most visited park in Kenya. Your arrival time will be early afternoon and upon arrival you will be received by our camp attendants for checking in. There after you will proceed late afternoon game drive in this park, which is essentially the northern extension of Tanzania's Serengeti National Park as an artificial border only separates the two. Dinner and overnight will at the Mara camp or Lodge depending with your accommodation choice . Masai Mara is renowned for its high animal concentration and abundance. Black-manned lions, elephants and buffalo can be seen (3 out of the big 5) though luck is essential for spotting leopard and rhino, which make the other two. The reserve is essentially the northern extension of Tanzania ’s Serengeti National Park and is home to numerous plains game including the migratory wildebeest, the common zebra and the Masai giraffe as well as antelopes like Thompson’s gazelle, hartebeest, impala and Dik Dik among others.
• Day 2 : Masai Mara Full day

  On this day you will wake up as early as 0630am, then proceed to our dining hall where you will find your Buffet Breakfast served by our cook. You will have 30min of breakfast and there after leave for the whole day game drive packed with your picnic lunch. Our driver will open the pop up roof so that you are able to stand and have clear game view while in your game drive. You will start spotting animals at a very close distance and we advise our guests to have all their cameras ready as the animals are in their Natural habitats and actions takes place without a notice, this early morning you might capture the early morning Lion kills as well as cheetahs strategizing a hunt before the sun get hot. The Masai Mara is famous for its lions, elephants, leopard, rhino and buffalo that make the 'big five' though luck is essential for spotting the other two namely which are rather shy and elusive. The park's animal concentration and abundance is second to none. After exploring the park you will proceed on the Mara River where the great Migration of the wildebeest takes place every year, lunch will be served here and our guests are advised not to feed the monkeys which will try to snatch some of your fruits which is common here. You will be able to see the hippo pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture. There after lunch you will proceed for another afternoon game drive as you return to the camp at around 1830hrs where you will be received by our staff with a cup of African tea or coffee as you wait for the dinner to be served. Overnight in the same tented Camp
• Day 3 : Masai Mara - Nairobi

  On this day you will have a wake up call as at 0600am and have just a cup of hot coffee and then proceed for the early morning game drive, this early morning game drive will give you an opportunity to see the early morning hunt and the Big five making kills. Then return to the camp for the main breakfast as you prepare to check out the Park. On this morning you will also have an opportunity to visit the Masai Village and be entertained by the Masai Dance, you will also have an opportunity to buy curios and other items from the village at a reduced cost. Then leave Mara and head to Nairobi but stop at Narok for lunch, after lunch proceed to Nairobi arriving late afternoon with a drop off to your hotel.
