Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Mauritius

  Welcome to your Mauritian Marvel' Tour! On arrival our local representative greets you at the 'meeting point' at the exit after immigration and customs and transfers you comfortably to your hotel (check in after 1400 hrs). The rest of the day is free to soak in the ambience of this tropical paradise.
• Day 2 : North Mauritius Excursion

  Today, proceed on a guided orientation tour of the French town of Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, The Harbour, La Citadelle - a stone fortress on top of a hill that offers a splendid view of Port Louis and, to this day, guarding Mauritius, and the Natural History Museum, with the Mauritius' National Bird, the Dodo. Later, go window-shopping at Port Louis Market, which is a riot of color with myriad curiosities sale. Visit Port Louis for duty free shopping and Continental Shopping Arcade. You can then stroll through the lovely Pamplemousses Gardens, which boast of one of the largest collections of exotic plants in the world, including giant water lilies and the Talipot palm.
• Day 3 : Ile Aux Excursion

  Today, proceed on a full day excursion to the picturesque Ile aux Cerfs. Get off to a flying start with a boat ride off the eastern coast. You may opt to explore the exciting Undersea Walk, where swimmers and non-swimmers both can get an intimate view of the marine life.
• Day 4 : South Mauritius Excursion

  Today, enjoy a full day guided excursion to the south of the island. Visit the Floreal Knitwear Factory Shop, Troux aux Cerfs - an extinct volcanic crater covered with greenery and offering a breathtaking view, and Grand Bassin - one of the island's two natural lakes and a place of pilgrimage for Mauritians of Hindu faith, snug in the crater of an extinct volcano. Behold the splendid views of the Black River Gorges - a natural sanctuary for the flora and fauna of the island and the fascinating dunes of Chamarel - the 'seven colored earth,' in contrasting layers of blue, green, red and yellow earth tones on account of the weathering of volcanic rocks.

• Day 5 : In Mauritius - Optional Blue Safari Submarine

  This morning, you have the day free at leisure or get ready to dive to a depth of 35 metres on board our Blue-Safari Submarine! If you are curious about nature, this under sea trip is one that you wouldn't want to miss. You also have the option to pilot your own underwater subscooter by 3 metres of depth and enjoy a unique experience in the world.

• Day 6 : In Mauritius

  Today, the day is yours. Make the most of it by indulging in unique and enthralling experiences like para-sailing, banana boat ride, deep sea fishing dive or just relax and get a tan at one of the many beautiful beaches OR opt to Walk with the Lions at the Casela Bird Park. The Park is home to 150 species of birds (and about 1500 birds) from 5 different continents, including the lovely long necked Pink Pigeons which until recently were threatened with extinction. Under the coolness of the trees you can take pleasure in viewing the lions from very close, see them playing and hopping on the rocks of the river banks and scaling the trees. With the supervision and guidance of the lions handlers, you can get even closer, and experience from first hand how it is to walk with the lions, pet the lions and to play with them.

• Day 7 : Depart Mauritius

  After breakfast day at leisure till the transfer to the airport for the flight to onward destination.
