Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati – Shillong

  Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station. Then transfer to Shillong - also known as the Scotland of the East. En-route visit Umium Lake – Also known as Barapani Lake and enjoy the serene view of the valley along the lake. You can also have local delicacies at the roadside stalls near the viewpoint. Then we shall proceed to visit the Golf Course - one of the oldest in India. Post visit check in to your hotel. After that, proceed to visit Ward's Lake, Mary's Cathedral, All Saint's Cathedral and Lady Hydra Park.
  By evening, visit Police Bazar and Bara Bazar where you can go for shopping and
  hangout among numerous Cafes, Pubs and Restaurant. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong

• Day 2 : Shillong - Jowai – Shillong

  Today morning, post breakfast, set out for a day trip to Jowai. In Jowai, visit Kranshuri Waterfall, Tyrshi Waterfall, Nartiang Monoliths and Durga Mandir. Then we shall transfer back to Shillong. Enroute, visit Grand Laitlum Canyon - made famous by the movie Rock On 2. In the evening, you're free to visit the local market. Overnight stay at Shillong

• Day 3 : Shillong – Cherrapunjee

  Today morning, post breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunjee - 2nd Wettest Place on Earth. Enroute, visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls - one of the major attractions of Shillong. On way to Cherrapunjee, pass through Mawdok Dympep Valley. In Cherrapunjee, visit Seven Sister's Waterfall, Dainthelen Falls, Wei Sawdong Waterfall, Nohkalikai Fall, Eco Park and Mawsmai Cave. Post lunch, visit Arwah Cave. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

• Day 4 : Cherrapunjee

  Today morning after breakfast, head towards Double Decker Root Bridge which is situated in the dense forests of Meghalaya in the vicinity of one of the wettest places on earth Cherrapunjee. It is a type of suspension bridge which formed of living tree roots. Overnight stay at cherrapunjee.

• Day 5 : Cherrapunjee - Dawki - Mawlynnong – Shillong

  Today morning, post breakfast, travel to Dawki - The border town between India and Bangladesh. In Dawki, visit the border post and go for country boat ride in Umngot River - The River with transparent water. We will then proceed to Mawlynnong - Asia's Cleanest Village. You can take a stroll around the village to observe the cleanliness and interact with the locals for inspiration. Here, you can also have local delicacies in Lunch. Post lunch, take a walk to the Sky Bridge - Made of Bamboo - to have a bird's eye view of Bangladesh. You can also check out the Balancing Rock. Then proceed to return to Shillong. On way, we visit Riwai Village. Riwai Village host the Single Decker Living Root Bridge - one of the famous attractions. Evening, you're free for leisurely activities. Overnight stay at Shillong.

• Day 6 : Shillong Local

  Today morning post breakfast, visit one of the famous museums in Meghalaya which is known as Don Bosco Museum. It provides glimpse of entire north east culture, its customs and its multi-cultural lifestyles. Overnight stay at shillong.
