depart from the independence square, stop at the 19th century presidential palace. Proceed to the Cathedral and the Mosque building. visit the 19th century colonial railway station and the 164 feet high Monument of African Renaissance, taller than the statue of liberty. Stop at the sand-painting gallery, then proceed to the Dakar University and last stop at the crafts market to soak up the city tour's atmosphere

Take the ferry for a 20 minute ride to Goree, a UNESCO world heritage site and major departure point for African slaves in West Africa .Goree history makes sense only to a larger historical context, that of the trans atlantic slave trade.
Goree served as a based for slaves from the 16th through the 19th century. Slaves were brought here against their will under horrible living conditions, suffering unspeakable abuse.

A 45 minute ride from downtown Dakar takes us to one of the most visited places in Senegal. The LAKE acquired its world fame thanks to its color.
The LAKE is also an important center of cooking salt collection.
Visit the Fulani village, the largest and most diverse ethnic group in West Africa. Visit Fulani compound and take a picture with the village chief.
Take four-wheel drive to tour around the sand dunes
