After leisurely breakfast full day tour visiting Stok palace which houses a fine private museum. There is a excellent collection of thangkhas, said to be the best in the world. Afternoon free to stroll in the famous Leh Market where you visit the spectacular eight-storey Leh Palace looming above. After early breakfast full day tour to Alchi Gompa it is situated to the west of the town of Leh. Alchi Monastery is 1000 years old monastery. Alchi Gompa in Ladakh comprises of a number of blessed temples, including the main one of Rinchen Lhakhang at Lotsa Lhakhang. The other temples are the Jamyang Lhakhang (Manjusri temple) and the Sumtsag Lhakhang. Alchi Monastery of Leh Ladakh reflects an Indian style, especially in its paintings. Over night stay at hotel.
