After having breakfast at hotel, Proceed Aurangabad. On your arrival at Aurangabad, you will be taken to the hotel, where you will stay for the night.

In the morning, you will proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of the Ajanta Caves. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ajanta Caves are approximately thirty in number. The caves consist of chaitya halls (shrines) or viharas (monasteries). Paintings, scriptures and architecture of both the Hinayana sect as well as the Mahayana sect of Buddhism adorn Ajanta caves. By late evening, you will come back to the Aurangabad hotel and retire for the night.

In the morning, you will again leave for a sightseeing tour of Ellora Caves, Daulatabad Fort and Aurangabad Caves. Ellora Caves also hold the distinction of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ellora Caves represent the major religions, namely Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. There are a total of 34 monasteries and temples at Ellora, belonging to the three different religions. Aurangabad Caves reflect tantric influences in their iconography and architectural designs. The nine caves comprise of mainly Buddhist monasteries or Viharas. The night stay will be at the hotel in Aurangabad.

You will leave for Mumbai in morning. After arriving there, you will check into a hotel. Then, you will proceed for an excursion to the Elephanta caves. These caves are known for rock cut temples, which date back to the 5th century. The night stay will be at the hotel.
