Spend a memorable day in Nairobi exploring Kenya’s unique wildlife, all within easy reach of the city. This tour combines a game drive at Nairobi National Park, an up-close encounter with baby elephants at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and feeding the endangered Rothschild giraffes at the Giraffe Centre all in just one day.
Morning – Nairobi National Park Depart early from your hotel and head to Nairobi National Park, located just outside the city center. Enjoy a morning game drive in this unique urban park, where lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species roam freely with the Nairobi skyline as a backdrop. Mid-Morning – David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, home to orphaned elephants. Watch them being fed and playing in the mud, and learn about the elephant rehabilitation and conservation programs. Afternoon – Giraffe Centre Next, head to the Giraffe Centre in Langata. Meet and feed endangered Rothschild giraffes, learn about their conservation, and take iconic photos with these gentle giants. Lunch & Return to Hotel After the Giraffe Centre, enjoy a relaxing lunch at a nearby restaurant before being driven back to your hotel, concluding the tour.
