Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Pashupatinath Temple

Drive to the hotel. Check - in and relax for some time.
Later leave for sightseeing to Pashupatinath Temple.
( Duration of the sightseeing will be about 3 hours approx. )
You will be taken to Pashupatinath Temple first. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the oldest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and is listed as one of the World Heritage Sites. The main temple is built in the Nepalese Pagoda style architecture. It has four main doors all covered with silver sheets. There is a main idol in the center of the four gates and only four priests are allowed to touch the idol. Cremation at Pashupatinath is of spiritual experience where individual physical essence is released from its physical form, allowing it to be reborn.

Day 2

Kathmandu / Pokhara - 210 kms and 7 hours drive (Option of visiting Manakamna temple on the way )

Drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is 210 kms from Kathmandu and is a 7 hours’ drive approx. You have the option of visiting Manakamna temple on the way where you are taken by a cable car ride of 10 mins.From Pokhara town (2,352 feet) in good weather there are splendid views right from the hotel.

Day 3

Pokhara

This morning you will go for an excursion trip to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is the most popular tourist destination from where the tourists can enjoy the great view of the Pokhara Valley and the magnificent view of the Himalayas. Sarangkot is only 13 kms from Lake Side, Pokhara. It is the highest viewpoint for a sunrise at an altitude of 1592mtsh. It is cooler than Pokhara. Can be reached easily within 45 to 60 minutes by a vehicle from Pokhara. Many tourists come to Sarangkot for sunrise.
From Sarangkot, in the northern direction we can see Dhaulagiri in the far west. Annapurna range is visible when the weather is clear on the same side. In the southern direction the village overlooks the city of Pokhara and its lake on the north-western outskirts of the city. (The above sightseeing is for a maximum of 03 hours after the vehicle reports at the hotel )

Day 4

Pokhara/ Kathmandu

Drive back to Kathmandu taking the same path and transfer to Hotel. Evening will be free for personal activities

We traveled around different parts of India with Brij Tours and we are very happy with our experience. The best parts were: 1. Mr.Bankey who planned our entire trip, accommodated our interests and desires, gave great tips. He was great at communication and very easy to reach at all times. 2. Communicating with just one company who planned everything for us, so through one portal we were able to manage the entire trip. 3. The company has good partners in almost all cities, so gets great deals at good hotels. The lower side to consider was that ome hotels didn't meet our expectations, while others exceeded. For example, 2 hotels gave us a mattress on the floor instead of an extra bed which obviously wasn't what we paid for. We were too tired to complain, so make sure you sort this out (and ask the company to sort this ahead of time). Overall, very good experience. Mr.Bankey gave us complementary cakes on our birthdays, which was really kind!
