Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Auckland

Welcome to Auckland - ‘The City of Sails’. Auckland is New Zealand's largest city and main transport hub. More than just a city, Auckland is a whole region full of things to see and do. Best of all, with so many experiences close by it’s easy to hop from one adventure to the next. Imagine an urban environment where everyone lives within half an hour of beautiful beaches, hiking trails and a dozen enchanting holiday islands. Add a sunny climate, a background rhythm of Polynesian culture and a passion for outstanding food, wine and shopping, and you’re beginning to get the picture of Auckland, New Zealand, the largest and most diverse city. Clear customs and immigrations and you will be transferred to your hotel by our local representative. Overnight at the hotel, Auckland.

Day 2 : Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today after breakfast, Travel south through the fertile Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Caves including an underground boat ride followed by lunch - World renowned and a magnet for both local and overseas visitors, the Waitomo Glowworm Caves occupy a high placing in the New Zealand vacation wish-list. The glow worm, Arachnocampa luminosa, is unique to New Zealand. Thousands of these tiny creatures radiate their unmistakable luminescent light. Waitomo Glowworm Caves are a must see for any traveller. Enjoy the world famous boat ride under thousands of magical glowworms and become a part of over 120 years of cultural and natural history.
Continue to Rotorua and visit Agrodome Farm Show on arrival followed by a guided tour and Maori Cultural Performance at Te Puia Thermal Reserve. Overnight at the hotel, Rotorua.
Day 3 : Rotorua

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers - The valley has many stories just waiting to be shared with you. Walk upon the earth where goddesses breathed fire and come face to face with the awesome power and majesty of the world’s most accessible geothermal site within Whakarewarewa thermal valley. Sitting atop the sinter terraces known as Geyser Flat is the largest active geyser in the southern hemisphere – or as we call it, Pohutu. This world-famous celebrity with an explosive personality is one of the most photographed attractions in all of Rotorua. Following this, visit Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand’s trout, birds and wildlife before continuing to the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. The World Famous Agrodome is a must see for any visitor to Rotorua and New Zealand. The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel, Rotorua.
Day 4 : Rotorua - Queenstown

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel and transfer to airport to board your flight to Queenstown. Check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel, Queenstown.
Day 5 : Milford Sound

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today morning enjoy a scenic cruise on Milford Sound - With an idyllic cruise across the calm waters of Milford Sound, you can appreciate the scale and majesty of one of the world’s top natural settings. A drive along its shores and a boat cruise down the length of it offers you the views you need to experience the raw beauty of the fjord first hand. Board a boat for a cruise across the unspoiled waters, and keep a lookout for dolphins, seals and even rare fiordland crested penguins. At the side of the lake, gaze up at the sheer cliffs that have waterfalls streaming down them onto the rocks below. Only a visit to this dramatic setting can do it the justice it so richly deserves. Return to Queenstown in the evening. Overnight at the hotel, Queenstown.
Day 6 : Queenstown

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today the day is at leisure to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price. Overnight at the hotel, Queenstown.

Day 7 : Queenstown - Glacier Region

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart Queenstown and Journey past Lakes Wanaka and Hawea before turning into the Haast Past and the World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue north to arrive in Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers. Overnight at the hotel, Glacier region
Day 8 : Glacier Region - Greymouth - Christchurch

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the hotel and Travel north to Greymouth and board the world famous Tranz Alpine train. Ascend through lush forests past the alpine village of Arthur’s Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps. Travel over Canterbury Plains to Christchurch - Truly one of the world’s great scenic train trips through the dramatic contrast of dry beech forests and tussock land on one side of the Alps and lush green landscapes on the other. Overnight at the hotel, Christchurch.
Day 9 : Christchurch

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today check out of the hotel before 10.00 am and you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight back home.
