Kaziranga National Park:- Kaziranga National Park is situated in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam in eastern India. Kaziranga was declared as a World Heritage Site byUNESCO (United Nations Educational
Scientific and Cultural Organisation) in 1985 for its unique natural environment. Located at the edge of the Eastern Himalayan biodiversity hotspot, the park has both a high degree of species diversity as well as visibility.

Manas national park:-Manas has one of the richest biodiversity areas in the world,the reason for this is the combination of sub-Himalayan Bhabar Terai and Sub-Himalayan mountain forest. The park is covered
with moist tropical deciduous forest. These wetlands are the requirement for the survival of endangered hispid hare.It is also a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site, a Project Tiger Reserve, an Elephant Reserve and a Biosphere Reserve - a unique distinction. This Brahmaputra Valley semi-evergreen forest Terrestrial Eco-region is also the richest in species of all Indian wildlife areas and the only known home for the rare and endangered Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Guwahati

Meet at Guwahati airport/station and transferred to Manas National Park (174km/5hrs) - the most stunning pristine wildlife habitat in India, comparable to the best in the world in respect of the beauty of its
spectacular landscape, covering an area of 519 Sqkms.The Manas National Park is the world heritage site, the Biosphere reserve and also the Elephant Reserve. checking in to the resort and night stay at resort.
Day 2 Manas Local

Early morning Elephant ride into the forest and back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, we will take a village walk to see its people and their culture. Afternoon Jeep safari through the Central range of the park to the place called Mathanguri just few steps away from Indo-Bhutan boundary. The Mathanguri is one of the most beautiful points in the entire national park. Then, journey back to lodge.

Day 3 Guwahati

drive back to Guwahati this morning via Hajo, a place sacred to Hindus, Moslems and Buddhists. We visit a Moslem shrine with extensive hilltop views over the surrounding rural landscape, as well as the simple hindu temple with its frieze of elephants and its sacred tank full of great carp, catfish and turtles.

Day 4 Kaziranga National Park

drive to Kaziranga National Park (81kms/02hrs) - a World Heritage Site and Tiger reserve - is home to more than 80% of the world's population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros.On arrival, check-in toresort.
Afternoon jeep safari through the western side of the National Park. Come back to the resort. Dinner around Camp fire. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 5 Kaziranga Around

We rise at dawn and drive for a few minutes to Kaziranga’s Central Range for an early morning elephant ride, the best way to get really close to the rhino and other animals. It is a paradise for birds watchers, with a variety of migratory and resident birds. Evening free at leisure and Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 6 Departure

An early start for the 4 hour drive back to Guwahati airport, or 2 Ѕ hr transfer to Jorhat airport for onward return.
